“Very good dinner, exquisite wine choice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013

Had a very nice dinner with friendly staff. Our reservation was quite late given the 24hrs advance suggested but we were able to snap a table for 2 by 6pm. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Top notch food quality and taste.

“Excellent Dinner, Wine Selection and Desert!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013

We wrapped up our trip to Moab on Sunday, 9-2-13 with dinner at the Desert Bistro and was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is small with limited tables, however, the food is spectacular and the presentation beautiful. Would highly recommend for a decadent meal!

“Could be in LA so good!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

We have been on the road for three days. I read the reviews and had to see if it was as good as the other guys said. YES! And waiter Bill was superb (attentive, knowledgeable and really cared). I had Bison fillet and my wife had sea scallops. I could not expect this kind of fare from 3/4 of the fine dining places I visited in LA. A total thumbs up.

“Gourmet fare and nice people in a largely burger, pizza and beer town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

First, I have to say what nice people there are at this restaurant. We had reservations for 7:30 but for various reasons did not arrive until an hour later. Even though booked up at that hour they still accommodated us right away (we kept them apprised of our delays). Service was both gracious and informative. As to the food, it leans toward Mexican fusion with spicings of abobo, cilantro and other traditional Mexican flavorings but with meats like bison, elk and a variety of fresh fish that has been flown in. There was a hamburger on the menu that looked great and a couple of other traditional entrees. I had rack of lamb one night and Bison the next. Both were prepared with inventive sauces and accompaniments.

Let's face it, Moab is a great place, but not a culinary haven. But if you are in the mood for something more gourmet and elegant, this is the place in Moab. Weather permitting, be sure to eat out on the back patio. Very romantic. Prices are commensurate for the food and fair in my estimation when comparing them to similar quality offerings elsewhere. But for Moab, this establishment is on the high side.

“Great food and service, as always!”

Fresh fish was deliciously prepared and our server was outstanding. The warm bread was wonderful with our salad, and we definitely had plenty to satisfy us after a day of biking and hiking.
