Only stayed here for two days but had a great time. We arrived (very) late and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. When we were late for dinner, the restaurant staff held the kitchen so that we could get our order in before it closed. I would definitely go back and would recommend to others.

Unfortunately we only had one night here as we had stayed in town (which was also nice) prior to going to Red Cliffs. The drive to the lodge was fabulous with the red cliffs on both sides of the river.

We were greeted and welcomed by the front desk personnel and given cookies upon our arrival. Our room was very nice overlooking the Colorado River and we were treated with a rainbow that evening. We used the pool & hot tub after a day of mountain biking. Jets were powerful and the hot tub was HOT! Felt great!

We then went to dinner which we were told we should make a reservation if we wanted the dining room as they were pretty busy. But we could eat at any time in the bar which was fine with us (big screen TV with a football game on). We were able to split the prime rib dinner which was wonderful. For a few dollars more, we could each get a salad and a side. Food was excellent as was the wine which was from the on-site winery....Castle Creek. We missed the wine tasting as we arrived late afternoon and chose to use the hot tub and pool rather then the wine tasting. Wish we did the wine tasting as we would have bought a bottle. The bar will sell it but they will have to charge you bar price which is about double.

We had to leave early in the morning but did love out stay. Our room was very nice and we hope to return with the kids to really enjoy all that Red Cliffs has to offer! Thanks for the hospitality....

My girlfriend and I stayed at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab for two nights beginning 09/24/09. The lodge is very nice. Check-in was easy and fast. Within the lodge it contains an open bar, a large restaurant with outside fresco dining, a business/conference center and more. The restaurant looks out onto the red cliffs and they are a wonder to behold. The room was very well appointed and designed. The bed was very comfortable and the service was great. Because it is a lodge, it came furnished with a kitchenette which contained dishes, dinnerware, etc., and we used it to a small degree when we ordered room service. We also had free cable internet. The large pool was nice, but it was so cool at night that we didn't use it. If you are traveling through, they do have a laundromat available if you need was wash and dry your gear or clothes. Overall, our stay was great. I paid $189.00 per night not including tax, and we did eat at the restaurant and partake of the bar. The food was ok, but nothing remarkable.

Also, there is an old western museum downstairs in the lodge and if you get the chance to explore it you should because it has many great artifacts regarding the old west and movies which were made on or around the property.

The only drawback to this lodge, in my opinion, is that the road and parking lots are not paved; most vehicles kick up a lot of dust. Hence, your car will be covered in fine dust the next morning. The Lodge should seriously consider paving the roadway and parking lot. Overall, our experience was very positive!

Wonderful place. We went for 5 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. We will return next year! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were beautiful. Large and spacious and very clean. Housekeeping did a great job. We had a beautiful view from our room. And everywhere around this place had great views and pretty scenes. We will return and hopefully bring friends. Thanks for the amazing vacation!

Now I know why I booked this lodge months ago and still it was sold out for 2 of the 6 nights we wanted! One can stay in a hotel anywhere but a room where horses & cows greet you in the morning is hard to come by.
Hint for a better deal.....Pick up the $20/person discount brochures in Springdale, just outside Zion park if you are in that area beforehand.
We hiked the Fisher Towers Trail a few miles away - equal to or better than many of the trails in the Natl. Parks.
I can't see paying double the price for the Sorrel Ridge down the road (for what? a personal doorman?)

Red Cliffs Lodge has it all! We stayed in King Suite along Colorado River. Room was clean and roomy with kitchenette and patio overlooking the river. Complete with restaurant, winery, pool, trail rides, movie museum (you won't believe how much hollywood history there is in Moab) and the best scenery you can imagine -- woke up every morning to beautiful sunrise along the red cliffs with the Colorado River passing by. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would not have stayed anywhere else!

Lovely, spacious, well equipped rooms, amazing scenery, great food and friendly staff, what more could you ask for? Well, how about location? Its not in the centre of Moab, but for us, that was perfect. It was all about the views and the surroundings and that couldn't be faulted. If you are looking for the hustle and bustle of the Town on your doorstep, this isn't for you. If you want a tranquil, oasis of beauty, then book now!
