It was a pleasure finding The Red Cliffs Lodge!
When we contacted them - we had stayed one night at a resort hotel just a few miles down the road - and it was awful!
We checked out of this so-called resort and drove a few miles on the same road to The Red Cliffs Lodge and asked them if they had any nice room for 3 nights. Fortunatly they had a large double queen cabin right on the Colorado River available for our stay! It had two rooms with queen bed in each - TV's in each bedroom, large lounge sitting area with another TV, full size kitchen and a veranda with nice deck chairs overlooking the Colorado river (about 30 - 40 ft away) and huge red cliffs on the opposite side of the river - an absolutely beautiful setting!
Food in the dining room was very good (one dinner was excellent, the next two were good). Service and employee attitudes was also excellent - people seemed to enjoy working there and helping everyone.
This is an actual working ranch and winery, so you can see cattle, horses, go horseback riding, river rafting, wine taste, or just lie around the pool.
We met the owner who is a down-to-earth person and a hands-on owner - which makes a lot of difference.
For us to visit this ranch meant a 5 day drive from Canada - and it was all worth it - we hope to do it again.

We stayed in the Queen Creek Side, 2 queeens.
Because we have 3 kids (all under the age of 5), we find it sometime hard to enjoy our stay in hotel room. But with the layout of this room with the patio it was very easy.
And what can I say about the setting: magnificant! Really, the view is just amazing and worth the fact that we're 20 minutes east of Moab. We enjoy the pool, the hottub, the wine, the weather. The staff was very helpful. The pack and play was not in the room but after caling somebody was there with it 10 minutes later. Will go there again!
