Loved this beautiful place right beside the river and a rustic drive outside of Moab. We stayed in a cabin right beside the river and across from the horse corral nestled against the gorgeous red cliffs - beautiful in the day, completely magical at dusk and night time! The views from the deck of the restaurant are astounding - never seen anything to compare with it - you are in the midst of something out of a movie! In fact, Red Cliffs has a history with many old classic westerns having been made on and near the property. There's a cowboy movie museum on site that has wonderful old photos and stories. Drive into downtown Moab to join mountain climbing trips, 4-wheel adventures, and mountain biking. Loved it!

I was only here one night but was absolutely blown away by the views from the restaurant. The rooms are large and comfortable. As I was just stopping through, I didn't really get much of a chance to experience everything the hotel has to offer but what I did, was fabulous

Very clean, wonderful breakfast, great location, would love to come back again!Liked the lay out of the room, very quiet, and enjoyed the filtered water. The main lodge had so much character, enjoyed our breakfast looking over the river.

Rather than beat a dead horse just a few things I didn't clearly pick up from T.A. prior to my three day stay over Valentines. (off season)

1. The rooms are nice, large and mine had a step down dinning area (sink, fridge, microwave, toaster) and fold out couch with a small deck area in the back. The t.v. isn't really large and there are skylights so you can't make it dark after sun up but why are you still in bed? (Don't expect the Plaza or Stine Erickson but its nice with a cowboy theme.

2. The included breakfast - It's ok, not saying there is a omelet bar, but most things you would eat at home and the quality is good. Cereal, oatmeal, eggs of some time, fruit, yogurt, breadie things and muffins. Pancakes one day. A bit more change day to day would be nice but not bad.

3. Dinner - Very good, a bit expensive sure but good. Plan on reservations if possible.

4. The water - They make a big deal out of the potash well water (salty) and yes it does dry out your skin a bit but there is filtered water at every sink.

5. The drive from Moab. Its longer than you would think. It's winding and speeds seldom top 40 so plan on adding 20 min each way and some car sickness for those prone to it. During the day it's somewhat scenic but after the third time you just want to get there. Also at night it's like a tunnel with a cliff on one side and a wall on the other.

6. Internet connection - I saw download speeds from .24-.54 megabytes but upload speeds four times that? Use of streaming video was a iffy thing sometimes it worked sometimes not. Plenty fast enough for normal surfing and emails, Facebook etc. Also two computers inside the office for the public.

Room Tip: get a cabin on the river for the view

The one and only reason why I gave stars is because I would love to come back to my room after a day of adventure and sit in a jetted tub. I know a little conceited, but I just don't dig sitting in a public hot tub with a bunch of strangers making small talk. The staff here is absolutely awesome. Best I've ever had. The food was scrumptious. Good portions. The views are amazing. Loved sitting in the dining area for breakfast and looking out the large windows and seeing the river and red rock. Highly recommend staying here.
