I was only here one night but was absolutely blown away by the views from the restaurant. The rooms are large and comfortable. As I was just stopping through, I didn't really get much of a chance to experience everything the hotel has to offer but what I did, was fabulous

Very clean, wonderful breakfast, great location, would love to come back again!Liked the lay out of the room, very quiet, and enjoyed the filtered water. The main lodge had so much character, enjoyed our breakfast looking over the river.

Rather than beat a dead horse just a few things I didn't clearly pick up from T.A. prior to my three day stay over Valentines. (off season)

1. The rooms are nice, large and mine had a step down dinning area (sink, fridge, microwave, toaster) and fold out couch with a small deck area in the back. The t.v. isn't really large and there are skylights so you can't make it dark after sun up but why are you still in bed? (Don't expect the Plaza or Stine Erickson but its nice with a cowboy theme.

2. The included breakfast - It's ok, not saying there is a omelet bar, but most things you would eat at home and the quality is good. Cereal, oatmeal, eggs of some time, fruit, yogurt, breadie things and muffins. Pancakes one day. A bit more change day to day would be nice but not bad.

3. Dinner - Very good, a bit expensive sure but good. Plan on reservations if possible.

4. The water - They make a big deal out of the potash well water (salty) and yes it does dry out your skin a bit but there is filtered water at every sink.

5. The drive from Moab. Its longer than you would think. It's winding and speeds seldom top 40 so plan on adding 20 min each way and some car sickness for those prone to it. During the day it's somewhat scenic but after the third time you just want to get there. Also at night it's like a tunnel with a cliff on one side and a wall on the other.

6. Internet connection - I saw download speeds from .24-.54 megabytes but upload speeds four times that? Use of streaming video was a iffy thing sometimes it worked sometimes not. Plenty fast enough for normal surfing and emails, Facebook etc. Also two computers inside the office for the public.

Room Tip: get a cabin on the river for the view

The one and only reason why I gave stars is because I would love to come back to my room after a day of adventure and sit in a jetted tub. I know a little conceited, but I just don't dig sitting in a public hot tub with a bunch of strangers making small talk. The staff here is absolutely awesome. Best I've ever had. The food was scrumptious. Good portions. The views are amazing. Loved sitting in the dining area for breakfast and looking out the large windows and seeing the river and red rock. Highly recommend staying here.

We have been at a retreat at Red Cliffs Lodge this past weekend. The rooms are comfortable, have filtered water and gorgeous views. The staff is friendly and the food (even for a large group) has been delicious. I recommend staying here - close to Moab and easy to get to Arches and Canyon Lands for spectacular scenery and trails. Best trip ever!

We arrived in Moab after dark, in the middle of a torrential rainstorm, and nearly missed the Hwy 128 turning. For ages we saw nothing and feared that we had taken a wrong turn, and then in the distance we saw Red Cliffs Lodge, gently illuminated against the otherwise dark backdrop. After a long drive we just wanted to check in and eat; the reception staff were most welcoming, but told us that we had just missed last orders in the restaurant, however, she would speak to the restaurant manager. We were welcomed in for dinner, and assured that it was no problem and were treated and served superbly - not a suggestion that anyone had had to stay on to make sure we were fed. We had dinner in the restaurant on each of the three nights of our stay; it was great each time.

The next day, we saw the beauty of the surroundings; the Colorado River running past just a few yards from our porch, and the incredible Utah red rocks. Do try the horse riding when you stay, even if you've never done it before; the wranglers (ours was the wonderful Lori) are very experienced and really look after you. The Lodge is well situated for Arches NP, which is a must see.

My friend and I stayed at this property for a girls' 4 day getaway in October. We were debating between this place and the fancier one up the road and are glad we picked Red Cliffs Lodge. I liked that Red Cliffs lodge had a much more fair cancellation policy. We booked a 2 bedroom cabin which was fantastic, although could probably use some minor refurbishments and updates. Since our reservations were in mid-October in early October we were worried about how the Government shutdown would affect our stay. I called the front dest and they were completely understanding and stated we could cancel our reservation with no fee which I thought was very accommodating. Luckily, Utah opened their parks for us to enjoy during our stay.
The views at Red Cliffs Lodge are fantastic, better than the resort up the road in my opinion. The only problem we encountered was that there was no wifi available in our cabin. We never realized how much we use and need our internet access to relax at the end of the day! If there was a way to have internet access in the rooms, this place would be practically flawless.
