We recently met family in Moab and stayed at the Red Stone Inn again. As usual, we totally enjoyed our three-night stay and the quaint, rustic feel of the hotel. The rooms are small, but very comfortable and we love the little kitchenette that allows us to fix our own breakfast and also keep our lunch items cold during the night. We did not use the hot tub so cannot comment. Location is great and is only a short distance from downtown restaurants. The value is great compared to other Moab hotels which are generally very high priced.

Arrived and got checked in easily. Room was basically a studio (which is all we needed). Small kitchenette with sink, silverware, soap, plates, and coffee maker. Bathroom was simple. Shower and hot water worked great. Clean. Hotel itself, as I read, isn't great soundproofed. We could hear people when they passed by our room, but in no way would I say it would discourage me from staying here again, and didn't impact our trip negatively.

We stayed in building 3, set well back from Main Street, with our dog. The room was quiet, with a kitchenette area, and absolutely no extra space. The wifi signal was strong, there was plenty of hot water, and the kitchenette facilities were all functional - microwave, refrigerator and sink. The motel supplies dish soap, towel and washcloth, with extra rags for cleaning bicycles, etc. The beds were on the firm side but comfortable. The room and facilities were clean and well-kept. The venetian blinds on the window were not sufficient to block the ambient light at night. We ran the HVAC fan at night for white noise.

The Red Stone is just south of a grocery store (City Market - a Krogers/King Soopers dba), and convenient to local restaurants and all the attractions offered by Moab. If you have your dog with you, go out the back of the motel to the alley with the dumpster, and walk directly north two blocks to the Bark Park, a no-leash dog park. Nice dog owners and well-socialized dogs for our old-timer. There is also a vet clinic across the street.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and know the local roads if you're hiking, biking, or doing ORV stuff.

On a 3 week road trip we returned to Moab on a super windy & chilly day. We were weary of camping in those conditions and just wanted some shelter and basic amenities but didn't want to spend alot of money. In our experience, Moab is pretty busy so we felt fortunate to get the last room at the rustic old school Red Stone. The room was at the back of the property so was nice and quiet - no street noise and we didn't even hear any of the other guests and we were right by the entry door. The room was dated but clean, had toiletries and a kitchenette (mw/sink/dishes/mini fridge), cable TV, WIFI. It also provided access to hot tub, pool, and mtn bike repair/wash area which we didn't make use of. The price was right at $100 plus tax (compared to same price for a rustic cabin at KOA south of town with no plumbing and supply own bedding!). The Red Stone is right on Main Street within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. A good deal and a good nights sleep.

We stayed at the Red Stone inn recently. Our room was nice. A little dated..but it was clean and tidy..we were comfortable there....until our last day. We put out our do not disturb sign as we were running a litttle slow that morning and the maids wanted to clean the room at 8:30am. Because we put the sign out we missed our chance to get our room cleaned. The maid did not come back that day except to grab the garbage and the towels....we came back that evening to an unmade bed..and no towels.
