What seemed to be a new building, at least on the exterior. Nice large rooms with ice & soda machines on each floor. A large exterior deck and pool (not heated) and a very relaxing outdoor hot tub that would fit about 10 people. Large towels for the pool area available at the desk. Hair dryers in all rooms and free internet.

Free coffee available in the lobby all day and the rooms were very spacious. This property only offered one washer ($1.50) and one dryer ($1.25) for such a large property. This building does offer one elevator, but it can be a little slow at times. There is ample free parking in the front lot and more space in the rear as well.

In all a nice hotel in a generally good location with friendly staff. No in-room coffee maker, fridge or microwave.

I would certainly visit again when traveling through this area.

Room Tip: I experienced no noise being on the top floor.

We stopped here while driving through and seeing some of the local national parks, and after turning down a couple of places that seemed totally over priced for a middle of the week in November, we tired here and it was $35 (without having booked) and perfectly functional. The hot tub was even still working which was a nice treat. The staff were super friendly and helpful when we asked about local places to eat, and generally we couldn't have asked for a better place- especially for the price! The room was very very big and we had a good nights sleep on the bed.

If you book in advance online, look for coupons... Can be as reasonable as $35 a night. Spacious, clean and allows all dogs (no extra charge). We spend very little time in the hotel in Moab and cook most of our meals, so this is a great place to get a good nights rest. Only suggestion- stay on the third floor with thin walls/ ceilings. Oh, and there's a hot tub too which is nice after a long day of hiking/biking. Would be even better if they added a BBQ& picnic area.

We stayed two nights here booked by our tour company.
It is very out of town and noisy.
Dark and small rooms with no facilities like coffee maker, fridge or even alarm clock in the room.
People at the service desk where nice.

Thank you for your comments. Our hotel has since renovated our rooms. Motel 6 brand does not offer in-room frills in order to keep room rates below other national brands. Thank you and we hope you will stay with us again.

We have just finished traveling coast to coast and back with our very large dog. Since Motel 6 allows pets without a charge, we frequently stayed there on the trip. The quality ranged from bad to just habitable. We were surprised when we stopped in Moab and found this motel was very nice with pretty good curb appeal (for American motels). It's built like most of the newer motels with one main entrance leading to all the rooms. The construction was substantial and it even had a large, modern elevator.

The "just fair" stuff: Stepping out of the elevator on the second floor, the hallway carpet is a dated blue color. Rooms have the same carpet and while it once was OK, it looks '50s now. Our room had two queens so was large enough we did not feel cramped. Bath was good and had a bathtub. Free Wi-Fi without password but limited to about 50Kbs.

The pool and spa were very attractive since most M6's have pools that are in disrepair. Climate control was excellent without any noise. Beds were comfortable. TV worked well. Night stand had a clock radio, a first for most 6's.

The very best is last. When we checked in, the rates had just gone down for winter that day from $80/night to $40 with seniors getting in for $35. This place is super for $35. We loved it, our dog loved it.

Room Tip: Huge empty area for walking dogs out back. Sabaku Sushi is a good spot for dinner, Low light, not co...

So disappointed in this place. The room we had was loud! We heard doors slamming water pipes banging and squeaking. The AC was loud too! The beds and bedding were old and uncomfortable. Bathroom fan wasn't working. The lobby was dark. Not a comfortable stay at all. The atmosphere was horrible. Expensive too! Not worth it.

Thank you for your feedback. We have made improvements since your stay in September 2012. Motel 6 rates are priced below other national brands within each local market. Our rates may be higher than other Motel 6, but it is still lower than other national brands in Moab.

Several years ago when it had just opened, (can't remember what year) we went there for a weekend and it wasn't too bad. We went for one day on Sept 13th and it looked a bit more beat up and can't remember the walls and ceilings being paper thin. My gosh there must have been a "two ton tillie" above us cause every step he or she took read about 7.5 on the richter scale! And guy next to us had some noisy bodily functions! And the rooms are small and the icemaker in the hall didn't work. If you need an iron, you have ask at the desk and they'll lend you one. Oh, and the bathroom fan (if it had one) didn't work. The one good thing I can say, that it seemed to be clean, so thats good, but other than that, eh, I'm trying going to a different place next time. By the way, Moab is a beautiful place, check it out sometime.
