We spent 4 days in Moab visiting Arches and Canyonlands. We ate at Sabaku twice. There was a wait both evenings, but just a few minutes. The staff was very friendly, serivce was good and fast, and the sushi was excellent. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh, as they advertise. They have the traditional rolls, and they have a lot of unique ones as well. There are a lot to choose from. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes sushi. Don't let the location worry you, Sabaku is great.

Coming from LA, we were wondering how in the heck Moab could have a respectable sushi place, with no proximity to fresh fish markets. They actually fly in fresh fish from Hawaii every other day. We loved the sushi and ambiance and would recommend this place for sure.

I know what you're thinking. Sushi in Utah? Yes. Sushi in Utah. This was one of the most creative and delicious sushi restaurants I've ever been to. The service was so friendly and although we were told the chefs were swamped, we were served promptly. Everything we had was fresh, interesting, and above all, super tasty. We started with the spicy mussel shooters and the ceviche: both were great starters to share. We continued with the Delicate Arch Roll which was creatively wrapped in cucumber, the well-balanced Sunshine Roll, a Sake Maki and a Tuna Tataki Nigiri. I wish I was still eating.
