“Quaint cottage in the town”

Stayed in the Kenzie cottage. Very cute and clean. The shower is great, plenty of blankets and pillows for the cold ac, nice little patio in a quiet area, and good hottub. The cottages are within walking distance of the Main Street and restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here over the over priced hotels in the area. Really enjoyed our stay!

But only parking for one car.

We loved our stay at Moosewood Cottage in early June. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated and provided all the amenities we needed. The landscaping is gorgeous - I loved all the beautiful plants! Enjoyed the porch swing, patio and hammock very much. Other pluses - The beds were all very comfortable. We loved being close enough to walk to town. Absolutely loved the huge shower heads – best showers ever! Another huge plus was that Moosewood has access to the wonderful washers & driers in their laundry room. These machines were great & a joy to use!

My only minor complaints (more just suggestions really) are: 1. To add some more lighting in the family room. I always like to sit on the sofa & read a little in the evenings but there was not enough light. And 2: Provide some info about the “swamp cooler” for those of us from humid areas that have never seen one before. We had no idea you were supposed to leave the windows open until the owner told us. And although it did cool well, it was loud & blew like a hurricane in the front room where it was located. I have to admit I prefer the quiet, even cooling of central air. This would not prevent me from staying here again though.

Overall this was a great place to stay in Moab and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a nice change from hotel rooms.

Let me clarify, I do not give an excellent rating to any hotel except if I had absolutely no issues and the place was exceptional, while 3d&aM was pretty close there were some small annoyances that made me decide to give it only a very good. Knowing the owners I am sure they will work thru the issues and soon make this little cottage exceptional.

Let me start with the Pros of the cottage. We stayed at Bugies' Bungalow

First off the owners are friendly and very helpful. They are very responsive to any requests or issues. We didn't have any issues but made a request for early arrival which they were able to accommodate.

The cottage is cozy, romantic and well decorated. The cottage has everything you will need, fridge, dishes, glasses, towels, soap, shampoo, blow dryer, everything you will need.

The garden and sitting areas around the cottages are very nice and relaxing. They have a gas grill and a hot tub to soak your aching muscles.

It is in a great location. Right downtown, close to restaurants and shopping.

Booking was easy and the instructions on how to check in and out are clear and very easy to use.

The cabin has a coffee maker and they have real coffee beans in the fridge and a coffee grinder you won't get that in a hotel.

The Cons are mostly just annoying little things.

It was very hot when we were in Moab temperatures in the 90's and the little window air conditioner had to be on full blast the whole time as well as a floor fan. Both were noisy and after a while it was nice to go out side for a little peace and quiet. The owners should consider investing in whisper air conditioners and ceiling fans. They can be pretty expensive but worth it in the long run.

The inside bathroom is too small to get ready in and the outside bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. The outside bathroom is great, plenty big enough to get ready in. I know a little about home design and building and I would move the back door to the outside wall and build in the hallway area outside the back door so that the bigger washroom is then a part of the main room and air condition it. Your clients will be happier and the reno is not that expensive.

The request for clients to wash their own dishes is not a big deal, but we found that we had to clean most of the dishes we wanted to use prior to using them and the stopper for the sink was missing which made washing dishes difficult.

See just small annoying things no major issues.

Room Tip: Bogie is only big enough for two people really. Each one of the cottages are different sizes check...

Wow! these cottages were so quaint and perfect for what we needed. we stayed in the kensie cottage for only one night, but wanted to stay longer! the tv, bed, shower, etc. were all top notch. all the amenities you could want. (the only suggestion is to add a little better lighting around the bathroom mirror, as it was a little dark.)

This review is long overdue. We stayed in Kenzie's cottage during our road trip last year, and absolutely loved it! As previous reviewers have stated, it is a bit tight, but it was perfect for us. The only thing we had issues with was the check-in process. We were told we would be e-mailed with instructions as to how to get in, but were not. However our call was returned within 20 minutes, and after fiddling with the lock box, we figured it out. There is also a cat, I am not sure if it is stray or not, but it would constantly run to us every time we went outside, and would try to get into the cottage. Great for cat lovers, but we found it to be a little annoying. Restaurants and shops are just a short drive away. Great location when visiting Arches. If we make it out that way again, we would definitely stay at 3 dogs and a moose.

Room Tip: Kenzie's cottage is great for a couple.

This is a charming place. The owners clearly have a keen sense of aesthetics. We stayed in Kenzie's Cottage and I thought it was beautifully appointed. The cottage is tiny, basically a bed with a cottage built around it, but it is just so cute. Plus the garden is landscaped so nicely that it extends the amount of effective living space (patio, nice Adirondack chairs, hot tub, hammock). Very inviting. The bathroom was adorable. The pictures on the website are accurate, not an exaggeration.

This is sort of a 'self serve' place. We arrived in the early evening, got the key in the lock box and then left the next morning. Never saw the owners--and that was okay with me. They communicate well over email and everything was super efficient in terms of check in and check out.

We also stayed at the Cali Cochitta Bed and Breakfast when we went thru Moab on the way out and did not like it as much as this property. It is also nice, but I prefer this place.

Room Tip: Check out the website--good photos.

Found this place on internet and thought it was so cute I had to give it a try. We stayed in Kensie's Cottage, the smallest of 3 cottages. It was so cute, really small and cozy. Had to do some dancing around getting dressed, etc, but it was worth it. A hot tub and grill were available, but we did not use it. On a side street one block away from the Main Street in Moab, so it was really quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended for a new experience away from motels/hotels.

Room Tip: Definitely for one or two people. Choose larger cottage for more than 2.
