“Perfect Honeymoon Getaway”

We stayed in Kenzie's Cottage in late August 2012, and enjoyed it immensely! The quaint cottage located in the back corner of the beautiful garden (with resident welcoming crew- the cat!) is perfect. Everything you need all tucked into a concise package - TV with DVD and Direct TV, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, glasses, mugs, and plates, wireless internet - and the BEST shower ever!! It was such a nice retreat after an active day in the Moab area. The owners were very easy to work with and easy to contact if you need anything or want to know anything about the property. Close to Main Street and walking distance from Moab restaurants and shops, as well as outdoor Moab activities. Highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future!

Room Tip: Kenzie's has it all - but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the options here!

We visited 3 Dogs and a Moose in July and stayed in "Kenzie's Cottage." Adorable is the only way to describe it. The small cabin is perfect for 2 people. Even for it's small size, it has a great size shower and plenty of room to get ready. After hiking all day in the heat at Arches National Park, it was wonderful to come home to such a clean, nice place to stay with all the amenities (including a huge TV). The grounds were beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating, gardens, and a hot tub. Although we were visiting on a couples trip, this would be a great place to rent out the other cottages on the property for a family reunion or multi-family get-together. The location is great, right out of downtown Moab, so you could even walk to local restaurants. Great value for the price!

We spent 5 nights at the Moosewood cottage. Lots of room for 2 couples. You could actually do 6 people! It was so cozy & comfortable I could live there!! They have thought of everything!

I'd booked Kenzie's cottage for 3 nights in late May as part of a solo-traveler hiking trip across several cities in UT. I broke my foot on my 2nd day of vacation so I arrived in Moab on crutches. I was a little worried about staying at a cottage property and its accessibility. Then I arrived at 3 Dogs and a Moose after a 5-hour drive and my concerns subsided. Denice (one of the owners) was onsite when I showed up and was so gracious and helpful. She offered to get my large suitcase from my car to the cottage. She showed me where everything was in the cottage and offered several things to help make the cottage more accessible to me. I so appreciated that hospitality.

The cottage was perfect. They thought of everything that one might need/want. The decor was Pottery-Barn-ish and perfect. The bed was so comfortable. The grounds of the property were beautifully tended to and provided a relaxing environment to escape the heat of the day. While I was not able to use it, there was a hottub and grilling area which others used with ease.

Thank you to 3 Dogs & A Moose for providing me a relaxing sanctuary during my trip!

We spent several nights in the Moosewood Cottage while exploring Moab and I can't recommend the cottages enough! The location was perfect- close to downtown and Arches. The rooms were clean and adorable with really comfortable beds which were perfect after a long day of hiking. Our favorite part was the great use of outdoor space- we were able to relax on the hammock and porch swing, use the outdoor patio for most meals and really enjoy the lovely Moab evenings. It was so nice to return to a cozy home at the end of the day and they have really thought of everything at Moosewood- it really made our trip to Moab a great one- I couldn't recommend highly enough!

We recently spent three nights in Kenzie's Cottage, the smallest on the property. It was very clean, well stocked with towels, dishes, microwave and small fridge. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great hot water and super water pressure all of which were appreciated after long days of hiking. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the small patio though would have appreciated a light on the patio side for late evening dining. We ended up moving the table to near the front door for eating at night. Everything was in good working order and the directions for self check in and check out were clear and helpful. The location one block off Main Street makes it easy to walk to dinner or some of the small shops but you can hear the truck noise early in the morning. It was nice to have the garden area to "come home to" after long days and we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of September with friends from throughout the states for a "reunion" mountain bike trip. Perfect location! Originally we thought about eating every meal out since it was so close to town, but then, upon seeing the ameneties, decided to BBQ and eat on the patio. It was great! We walked into town at night for drinks, ice cream, and/or coffee. Walked to the bike shop for repairs and forgotten supplies. Walked to the shops for gifts. By the way, we stayed in the moosewood. The only thing negative to say, is the room with 2 twin beds is very small and there is no storage. Not even a dresser. Everything else, including the second bathroom, we perfect. We saw the inside of the other properties as well, and would stay in any of them.

Next trip to Moab, I will be staying at Moosewood!
