“We heard it was amazing steak and found it good but not out of the park.”

Had high expectations for this lovely upscale establishment. We ate outside which was just wonderful however we found the food good but not outstandingl. The best thing was the side of assorted vegetables that came out flavorful and cooked to perfection! The steak was good but nothing special. Deseret got mixed reviews, the tiramisu was fabulous but the apple crisp was lackluster.

“Quality wine menu and great food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

As a special treat for my birthday with friends we booked into Jeffrey's Steakhouse which just happened to be across from out accommodation. Any good restaurant in Moab seems to be busy so I would certainly recommend booking a reservation first.

We were seated in the Ghost Bar upstairs as we arrived a little early. This is where our fabulous evening began. We had one of the best Barbera's I have drunk anywhere in the world. Cost wise the meals seemed on par with many other restaurants and we were all happy with everything we had. I had the steak salad and it was delicious.

We were also fortunate to have an excellent and attentive waitress who also recommended some of the meals as her favourities and I was one of them who went with her suggestion. As our reservation was for 9pm as that was the earliest they could fit us, we were the last table to leave and we never found hurried to finish up and go. An excellent experience all round.

“Best Filet Mignon I have ever had!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012

I wanted to have a steak dinner for my 60th birthday, so, we decided to go to Jeffery's Steakhouse. We arrived early to have a glass of wine in the Ghost Bar upstairs before dinner. Our server was very knowledgable about there wines and made a good recommendation for a very good Pinot Noir and a Pinot Grigio available by the glass. We also had a calimari appetizer with a nice southwestern dipping sauce prior to dinner.

We went down for dinner and our server explained the nature of the special beef they serve. The cattle are specially raised Kobe/Black Angus breed which produce very tender beef. I have had very good Filet Mignon in the past, but, never have had a steak like this before. My 12oz. Filet Mignon was $39, a very reasonable price for something so special.

My wife chose the Salmon which was also very good. Nicely prepared with a good presentation.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a special steak dinner and is willing to pay a little more for it.

“Wild for excellent Wagyu steaks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

Wonderful Wagyu Style meat. Particularly enjoyed the smaller portions that allow the meal to be more balanced with some of the wonderful side dishes as compared with the typical huge portions of meat that you get a Morton's or similar style steakhouse. The 8 oz. ribeye was really tasty - so rich that 8 oz was enough.

“Very Good - But Very Expensive!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2012

The food ranged from very good to excellent; but the service was spotty and the check took longer to get than than eating the meal. While the staff was quite pleasant; they seemed shorthanded and hurried. The prices are outrageous for Moab - even though the beef really was fantastic. Perhaps transportation costs for the fine beef created the relatively poor values. The outdoor patio was very nice, although the chairs were uncomfortable. Plan to spend longer than you may prefer for drinks, dinner & waiting for the check.
