“Nice Hampton Inn”
Reviewed October 10, 2011

Classic Hampton chain hotel. It looks quite new, Staff is very helpful: they accepted to get our luggage in lock room well before the check in time, to avoid to visit the park with the car full of stuff. Very nice room, clean. Breakfast are is huge and the quality and variety of food is OK. I would say that this hotel is among the best HI hotels I visited (and they are many!). Pool area not huge, but quite nice. Moab is nice and this hotel is a very good place to stay to visit the area.

Spent six nights at hotel. Hotel is a little over two years old.
Located on the north end of town it is about five miles from Arches.
Breakfast is above average for a Hampton Inn.
laundry is expensive at $2.50 a load.
Housekeeping could be more attentive to details.
Most rooms do not have refrigerators. Free internet and newspaper.

Good hotel on the main street through Moab. Our room was spacious, comfortable & very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable - perfect for a good night's sleep after a day's hiking.

The hotel is very convenient for Arches National Park & for exploring other parts of the area by car. The restaurants and shops of Moab are all nearby - within a few minutes walk.

Breakfast was good - lots of variety and a different hot selection each day. The complementary coffee (day and night) was also very welcome!

Highly recommended.

We recently stayed here as part of a six week trip around the country. The staff was great, thanks to JP and Sam we were referred to some great places to eat, they also gave us great info on some of the tours available, too bad the sunset hummer tour we were going to take didn't work out because of weather. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good and the hot tub was nice after a long day of hiking. We have stayed at other properties in town in previous years, we will be staying here next time we are in town.

This hotel is in a great location – direct access to everything in the town & an easy 5-10 minute drive to Arches National Park, obviously a bit longer to Canyonlands. We had a King Suite which was big, pleasantly decorated & the air-conditioning was efficient but NOT noisy! There is a complimentary breakfast buffet which was good, but it is not my preference to have disposable plates & cutlery, even if they are biodegradable. The hotel is clearly very busy outside of the peak season & was fully booked whilst we were there. The staff were all helpful & efficient. There is an outdoor pool & Jacuzzi, & although not huge, the pool was a good enough size to actually stretch out & swim in – extremely welcome after long hot days hiking. We were very pleased with our stay & would definitely stay there again.

This is a newer Hampton Inn. Everyone was very nice. The hotel and room was very clean and the beds were nice. It is right on the main road in Moab. It does seem to be a bit more expensive than the average new Hampton Inn product. I might consider other options if they are available, ranked well, and priced better. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again on another trip to the Moab area.
