“Here then Gonzo!”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

We screwed up our reservation at Best Western, so the girl there referred us to The Gonzo Inn. This was nice as it was late after a day of driving from Vail. Don't get scared by the look of the dog mannequin in the middle of the lobby with the shorts an sun hat. The room was great, even though we had no choice, we were right off the lobby, as that. W what was left. It had a separate bedroom and eating area with a hide-a-bed. This is great with a young child. Feels like freedom when we get a door on vacation!

Seeing that I screwed up the reservation at Best Western, I was expecting my wife to nix this place when she went in, as it is a bit different. The large showers are glazed concrete, reminding me of high school!

The continental breakfast was one f e better on our trip.

The location is one block west of the Main Street, which makes it very convienient for shopping.

We'd stay again.

Room Tip: Don't get the first couple of room off of the lobby...unless you are expecting to use the pool t...

If you are staying in Moab for any length of time, absolutely stay at the Gonzo Inn. From the overall cleanliness, wonderful location (off of the main road but we walked to everything), clean and well-kept pool, very helpful staff and great breakfast the Gonzo made our stay ( two adults two kids age 11/13) so memorable. We felt like we were staying in a home rather than a hotel, just can't say enough good things!

Our room was the very first one on the ground level next to the noisy ice machine but thankfully it did not disturbed our sleep. I loved all the comfy pillow and linens. Breakfast was average nothing to write home about. I liked the huge unusual shower. The sink was awkward to use since there was a towel bar right in the front. Small sink area. Small supply of towels given in bathroom. The metal sculpture was dynamic and cool. Receptionist area and breakfast area very nice bad out of the ordinary. I do think it is overpriced since the rooms are small.

We really enjoyed staying here. It included a nice continental breakfast with the best coffee I've ever had at a place that includes breakfast. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable with high ceilings and plenty of room. They also make the best cookies in the afternoon for guests and we were sure to be there before they were gone each day. I's in a great location and they not only had seating indoors but also outdoors for breakfast. We took advantage of that and ordered pizza and had a wonderful meal with friends on the patio in the evening. The pool was nice and had plenty of shade for sitting and relaxing. The staff was helpful and friendly. We'd come back.

Pefect loction for town and Arches NP. Staff very helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Only spent a couple of nights here. Loved the hot tub and mananged to get it to ourselves. The loctions is so good for the town as you can park uo and walk to everything you need. I loved the name and all the lizard decour. Breakfast was good lots of choice area clean and kept topped up well. Could not find a fault with this place other than the weather for us. Heat wave??? we woke up to a storm and rain.... If we were to go to Moab again would stay here with out a dout.

This quirky hotel has a great location in Moab, a wonderful pool and big lawn, nice decks off each room, super-comfortable beds, and a good continental breakfast. AND they like pets, although they do charge $30 extra for them. Just the place to relax after hiking in the National Parks nearby.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the back, overlooking the big lawn!

I stayed here 2 separate nights while on a rafting vacation in the area. I love this hotel, it is located back off of Main Street and is very quiet. The staff is really nice and helpful. They are willing to give suggestions on places to go eat, places to go see, etc. The staff gave me a room on the bottom floor so I would't have to drag all the stuff I had brought for my rafting part of the vacation. It was such a nice room. It had a nice area outside that you could sit and enjoy the outside. The inside is well appointed with a comfy, clean bed. They put everything you need for a shower; soap, shampoo and even a hairdryer. They also provide free wi-fi. They do not have a restaurant but have a breakfast area. The continental breakfast was very good. They provide hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, low fat milk, make your own waffles, all kinds of bread to make toast. They do have a swimming pool, but I didn't use it so I can't really rate it.
