“Christmas at Aarchway.”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

Winter value. The winter rates at this motel are great value. Clean modern oversized rooms with nice amenities, Coffee, fridge and for geeks a tv with accesible portals, HDMI etc for your laptop/tablet. Free WiFi in the room (232) varied from superb to nonexistent depending on the time of day....always excellent in the public areas. The staff made it a pleasant Christmas. No variation in breakfast over 4 days but OK, enough variety built in.

Room Tip: Ask about wifi, which rooms are better.

This place was surprisingly nice for its price. In a city this same hotel would easily go for $150-250. The bed is massive, luxury toiletries, immense bathroom with attractive granite shower, a good hot breakfast included, nice indoor jacuzzi for a post adventure relaxation soak, clean facility and friendly staff. I'm giving it 5 stars not because its a Four Seasons but because for $59-$70 per night (winter) I can't imagine finding a better hotel almost anywhere!

We spent 2 nights in Moab. Once at a competitor across the highway, and once at the Aarchway Inn. We were pleased with every aspect of our stay. The front desk clerk (female) was pleasant and was happy to oblige us with an extra pillow for our room, and even brought it down herself within about 5 minutes of the request! The room with 2 queen beds (comfortable) was larger than we expected, very clean, and we used many of the ammenities: indoor pool, self-serve coin laundry, computer and internet access. The free breakfast buffet the same great quality: a choice of french toast, fresh pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit, cold cereals, bagels, etc. We ate at about 8 am and only shared the breakfast area with two other people.
Because of the free breakfast, we believe that during off season, this is a better deal than some of the other (slightly cheaper) competitors who eliminate their breakfasts during the winter months.

Room Tip: We were on the south side and it was VERY quiet.

I'm not sure what they charge in the summer, but during the winter this place is the best value you can find in the hotel industry. The location was great, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was well above average. And it was a low price.

I've stayed in 4 other Moab hotels in the winter and this was by far my best experience. I look forward to staying there next time.

Moab is an incredible place and the archway inn is a great place to retire after a long day of hiking as your explore the nearby parks. It is near a large range of establishments but is never noisy and the include breakfast is top notch.

We had planned to stay in Moab just one night. I picked this motel from reviews on TripAdvisor. It was not a mistake. Our stay ended up being three nights. We had a large room and found that their winter walk-in rate is very reasonable. You have a short drive to the center of Moab and are just a few miles from Arches and Canyonlands NP's.

We stayed here for 4 nights after a driving from Salt lake city. It was a great base to explore the Arches NP, Canyonlands and dead horse. Landry was great and the gym good to stretch out. The kids liked the pirate ship playground. The staff were very helpful with any request even extra pillows and bucket when one of our kids got sick.

Breakfast ok.. Gives you something before you hit the canyons.
