“Great experience!”
Reviewed August 27, 2011

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Adobe Abode for 3 days in early August. Keith, the owner, was wonderfully welcoming and friendly. He built most of the furniture in the abode, and we loved the creativity and decor of the house. Our room, the Buffalo Room, was comfortable, charming and well-equipped. It had french doors opening to the patio, where we enjoyed watching the stars from the hammock swings. The common areas were a home away from home during our visit, and the refrigerator stocked with a variety of beverages was a welcome convenience. Keith was helpful in answering all our questions and in planning our itinerary in Arches and Canyonlands. Breakfast was served anytime after 8:00--delicious food, creative presentation, fantastic service with a smile--thank you Nicole! We were asked each day if we needed anything in our room and requests were honored promptly. We highly recommend the Adobe Abode for its warm hospitality, a friendly, enjoyable visit in Moab and quiet location not far from town.

My wife and I stayed at the Adobe Abode in Moab in early August 2011 as we though staying at a B&B would be a nice change from the chain hotels.
We were greeted by Keith the owner who is so friendly, welcoming and knowledgable about the area. Keith could not do enough for us and even popped into town For me when I had a blown fuse on the hire car....
He advised that we took a trip to see dead horse point for sunset. this wasnt in our plans but we went and wow - it was fantasic. It has to be seen to be believed!!
If you are in Moab, UT you really should go, but make sure you are there in plenty of time before Sunset to get the best out of it.
There was a complimentary stocked fridge with beers and wines which ended up as a talking point as Keiths favourite tipple is Newcastle Brown Ale and we are from Newcastle where it used to be brewed.
The building was built by keith and his late wife and it is fantastic with a really comfortable atmosphere. We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time.
Thanks Keith !!

I am from Louisiana where the food is outstanding . We had strawberry
Crepes' to die for. Have you ever heard the old saying " some people you can't please" , the man that said the food was ordinary was one of those. We were given fruit, homemade muffins, cereal . When we asked for towels they were brought immediately. I would recommend this b&b highly & I have stayed in B&B's all over the US !!

Keith, the owner, was very gracious thru the 2 nights we were there. He was always available for anything we needed. We had the "Buffalo Room" which was very clean &
delightfully decorated. The common area was very welcoming & spacious, with a pool table, dart board, & plenty of room for card games. The refrigerator in the common room where we could store personal perishables was a very nice touch. The location of the
B&B was far enough away from the "Main Drag" of town to be quiet, but close enough to be convenient to eateries & shopping. The only negative was that the tub/shower was a
higher step up & down then my mother felt comfortable making without help. Overall, we had an extremely plesant stay and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Moab & the surrounding areas. The Brashers Jackson, MS

We needed to have a central location for a family gathering. Keith was a great host during our visit and provided us with accurate and fascinating historical information regarding the Moab and Southwest areas. The Adobe Abode was perfect with its large open commons area for our family to gather and visit, and contains a myriad of interesting artifacts and eclectic collections. The breakfasts were very good and varied. We all appreciated Keith's hospitality and attention to detail in meeting our needs!

We loved everything about this B&B. Keith, the owner, was so friendly and funny and very knowledgeable about the area. His home was decorated beautifully and you felt right at home with free run of the place, including the kitchen and living room. Our room was very nice with a huge bathroom. We were about a mile from the park, and the town of Moab was very nice with great places to eat and shop. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to visit Keith again.

A disappointing stay. We stayed in one of the rooms over the garages. The rooms were clean but a bit tired. We could tell when the owner Keith would come and go because it felt as though the garage door opener was in our room.

The hot tub was not usable given problems with the chemicals. It was green in color and gave emitted fumes that burned the nose and made our eyes tear. I think there was too much bromine in the tub.

We felt the ground were not well kept and did not exhibit the pride one usually sees with a B&B property.

The complimentary beer and wine were a nice touch and the common rooms were inviting and well stocked with useful information (books, maps). The breakfast was nothing remarkable.

For the money there are better options in Moab. Next time we will be staying somewhere else.
