Charming inn in a nice location. The rooms were nice, the service was great, the breakfast was delicious. Our hostess Martha was very accommodating of our late arrival and departure times. The only downside of this place is that it is located about 20 miles from Arches NP, so it adds a bit of a commute every day. On the plus side, the drive is a scenic one along the Colorado river. Our hostess arranged for a rafting trip, which was spectacular.

There were 4 of us traveling around Utah. Our best night was at Castle Valley Inn. I am so grateful that they share there home with others. If you can go there or if you are thinking about it, just do it. We are all from the East and we know what is good. You will love it too. Thanks Marta for hooking us up.

Wonderful accomodation, clean modern rooms, away from the hustle and bustle of Moab, peaceful 5 acres with fruit trees. We picked cherries to take on our daily excursions. Mary was away with her daughter who was having their first grandchild, but Jim was the consumate host. could not be better.

We can't rate this place highly enough. We so enjoyed our stay in stylish, tasteful, accommodation with bags of character. We recommend the Hovenweep Bungalow. The location is superb, surrounded by the red cliffs and the mule deer strolling around to look at you while you lie in a hammock or soak in the hot tub. The breakfasts out on the decking were very tasty especially the tea which most Americans can't make well but 'Castle Valley' tea was excellent. We loved watching the humming birds as we ate our food. We'd love to go back one day. The owners, Jim and Mary, were first class hosts, friendly, helpful, attentive but not too fussy. They gave you right amount of space. Howard and Judith Evans. Blackwood. Wales. U.K.
