Traveling and got in late, but everything was where Mary said it would be. Our room was neat and spacious; the warm cotton robe and tea pot for my evening cup of tea completed the welcoming environment. We awoke to red cliffs, green grass, and blue sky in the quiet of a desert morning. A fantastic breakfast awaited in a quaint dining area looking out on a beautiful lawn populated with bird feeders and watching the various finches claim and reclaim their feeding station was better than any TV sitcom. What else could anyone ask for in this little piece of Heaven?

My wife and I have never felt more welcome and comfortable in any other hotel, motel, b & b ever. i could not say enough how relaxed and inviting the location and hosts, jim and mary, were. we did not want to leave. the breakfasts were awesome. like another reviewer noted, mary arranged for us to have dinner at the red cliffs lodge before they closed on our first nite and sent us out in the early am with a take out breakfast before our rafting trip. we loved the location and the hosts and can't wait to go back.

It was such a relief to reach this oasis after a long hot drive and a fairly arduous-though beautiful- hike at Fishers Towers. The view from our room over green lawns to the red cliffs was spectacular and we enjoyed watching the finches and humming birds at the feeder. Using the hot tub in the cool of the early morning was a delight before tucking in to Mary's delicious breakfast. We spent three nights-with a day each at Arches and Canyonlands National Parks-before leaving regretfully for Zion and Bryce.

We stayed here on a week-long tour of national parks in Utah, and this was the highlight of our trip. Our cabin was so peaceful that we canceled our sightseeing plans for the day and relaxed on the porch, enjoying the view. (The hot tub under the stars was another treat.) Hosts Jim and Mary made us feel like old friends. Driving up the 17-mile road from Moab along a scenic river byway was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Thanks again for a wonderful stay this past weekend! We rarely treat ourselves to hotels in Moab, but with a little one, it is so much easier than trying to sleep in a tent. I was telling my husband on our way home that I've never felt so rested driving home from Moab! The food was delicious and it was great to have a hot breakfast before a morning of hitting the trail. Our son loved your place, especially the golfcart and Amber! Have a great summer and we would love to stay again sometime.

The location is about 17 miles from the entrance to Arches NP. But I am glad otherwise I would have never driven on such a beautiful road trip. It runs along the colorado river and ends up in a beautiful apple orchard with the deer and cliffs right there. There was a hot tub to soak in after hiking in Arches and the room (wingate) was nice and clean and spacious.
Can't say much about the restaurants in Moab. We ate at Bucks which had a high rating and recommendations from Emeril but the food was expensive and average.

Great B&B when you visit the Moab area or Canyonlands. Rooms are nice and clean, hosts are very nice (and tolerant for kids), setting is amazing (although a little far from Moab). And enjoying the outside jacuzi at night after a day of rafting is super . Net net, great place if you need to stay 1-2 nights in the area
