We have stayed at this hotel twice over the last several years. The first time, was in February, and when we got to our room, water was literally pouring through the top of the window from the rainstorm outside and running down the wall. The desk help automatically switched our room. The stay was okay.

The next time was last October (2012). My husband and I decided to opt for a hotel instead of camping because of the time of year. We wanted a place to come back to after days of hiking. The hotel is okay. The breakfasts are good--full menu. The room was clean, but there were stains everywhere. On the drapery, wallpaper from water damage on the ceiling and walls, and the furniture.

The worst thing is that we were there for the Fall Break of most of the public schools along the Wasatch Front in Utah. Families came after we were there and packed the rooms with kids from wall to wall, because any "child" under 18 stays free. They were out of control, rude and noisy. We managed to plan our trips to the pool and hot tub while the "families" were out to dinner, and then would eat later. It was irritating to get pushed out of line at breakfast by some rude kid, shoving there way to the counters like pigs at a trough! Seriously. We finally started to get up early, get our food and then take it back to our room to eat.

For the price you pay--$150 a night for a queen bed, is way overpriced. But, as one review mentions, because it is Moab during the tourist season, they never want for full rooms, so they don't care. I was very disappointed with the experience, because we have had wonderful stays at Choice hotel rooms in the past. This one in Moab was a nightmare. The desk people acted as if we were wasting their time even checking into the room. Compared to other Choice hotels, I'd go someplace else, or find a bed and breakfast in Moab to stay if you want to go there.

The indoor pool was fine, and the hot tub was great, though. Just don't go there during Spring Break or Fall Break in Utah!!

Room Tip: You definitely want a room away from the kitchen. They start really early fixing breakfast, and the...

We stayed here during our visit to Arches National Park and Canyonland's National Park. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the breakfast was great. It is near restaurants and shopping and not to far from the parks. We bought a book in the park about Petrograph's which were worth finding in the area. There is a lot to do In the area.

Moab is a resort town and with that being said, things are going to be expensive, Rooms here are $150 a night. The hotel is clean and modern but not what you think of for $150 a night. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Beds was adequate. Breakfast was very good with los of options. Pool and hot tub were nice.

We decided on Moab as a last minute trip. There are a lot of hotels in Moab and this one offers a Veteran's discount, so we decided to stay here. The rooms are really dated. The rooms were clean enough though I've stayed in much better accommodations for the same price (about $150 a night) We stayed in June, so it was in the mid 90s when we got there. It basically took all night to get the room cooled down with the undersized a/c. The indoor swimming pool was cold and the hot tub wasn't really all that hot. The morning breakfast was typical for a "Choice" brand hotel. Eggs, bacon or sausage, cereal, waffles, muffins, and fruit. Everything about this hotel is just average.

When we got back to Moab, we'll be looking at a vacation rental. We stopped by one of those offices on the main street and they had 2 bed condos starting at $90 bucks a night. I'd look there first before booking a stay at this hotel.

If I would've paid less than $150 for my room, I might have given it an average review. Moab in the summer is expensive, next time I'll camp! It is Moab after all. I imagine it was $150 because of the time of year, and frankly they can get away with charging that much. However I think the hotel is worth $79, or $89 per night at the most.

When approaching the room I noticed the smell of BO (body odor, armpit smell) that continued throughout the room. I would've complained, but we were only there for one night. The furnishings were old, and not very clean, aside from the beds. They were fine, and comfortable. The linens seemed to be clean. The couch in the seating area was filthy and stained, and probably where the smell was coming from.

Now I'll give some positive information on this hotel. The location of the hotel is great. It's right in the town of Moab, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Arches National Park is only a 10 minute drive, and Canyon Lands is about an hour.

The indoor pool is fine, nothing spectacular but about what is expected at a Quality Inn. The Continental Breakfast is good, and offers hot, and cold items. The internet is free, and was very fast and reliable.

Like I said, if you're paying around $89 a night, go for it. $150, like I did...a bit disappointing. Oh and they should replace the smelly, old couches. Ewe!

I was expecting an average hotel stay based on previous reviews. Was I wrong. The hotel must have been completely remodeled. Entrance was beautiful, the room was large and comfortable. The beds were soft and relaxing.

Moab Brewery was a 1/2 block away with great food and drinks.

I would definitely come back and stay here.

Overall, a decent stay, but just nothing memorable about it. Room was clean and bed was exceptionally comfortable. When we checked in, the room we were given was on the side of the motel that sees sun all day, so needless to say, it was very hot. Turned on the air conditioner immediately and it began making some ominous noises. Asked the front desk staff if we could change rooms and he gave us a new room on opposite side (away from sun). Very courteous & kind. Breakfast was just so-so (coffee was horrible, but good selection of fruit for hiking later in day). Decent value for the location. Check out the Moab Brewery next door. Would stay here again!
