We booked one night via Hotwire, which promised us a 2.5 star hotel for $75. Instead we got the Ramada, which was a sub par experience. When we arrived, the front desk lady told us that a Hotwire booking meant we would get a specially designated room and could not swap out. She explained that only two rooms out of the entire complex fit the bill and these were isolated and on the main street. We went in to our room and were horrified. Fixtures were busted or leaking. Traffic noise was extreme. Extensive use of cleaning fluids barely masked moldy dank smells. The adverstised "free wifi" did not extend that far. The whole thing was a farce and extremely unplesant. Customers do not know how the relationship between a hotel and various online providers work, nor should it matter. The poor treatment we recieived reflected badly on Ramada and Hotwire.
