We spent one night at this Ramada and while not great, it was comfortable and suited our needs. We could walk to many good restaurants or just wander down the streets to look around. The beds were a bit soft for our taste and there is an interesting double shower head; both worked so guess you could choose which one you liked. Although there is no free breakfast, there is a small pancake house next door with excellent breakfast food and quick service.
My wife and I reserved a room at Ramada Moab Downtown. The reviews looked okay so I wasn't worried when I agreed to a non-refurbished room (Rm 2111). We checked in after 11PM after a 12 hour drive that day. Finding another motel at that time of day was not feasible nor was to continue driving. The room was horrible. It smelled. The fridge made a ticking sound every time it ran (I eventually unplugged the noisemaker). The toilet seat was approximately 18+/- inches above the floor. I have never seen a toilet mounted that low to the floor. The front door was about 25 feet from the edge of the State Highway that goes through town (more noise). The bar across the street was also loud at closing when the patrons spilled out for a short parking lot party. The fitted sheet was not the correct sheet for the mattress we slept upon as we discovered when we woke twice during the night to find our faces laying on a bare mattress (no one likes to find themselves sleeping on a bare mattress in any motel). In the morning when we were leaving the gentlemen next door told me about what he found in between the sheets of his bed (I believe it was another UN-refurbished room). He showed me and then told me that it appeared to be rodent droppings and his exact words to me were "...and I know rat sh#& when I see rat sh#&.", which is not a good thing when the location is very near the epicenter of the Four Corners hantavirus. I relayed my displeasure with the room at checkout and also with Wyndham corporate offices. The motel refunded me approximately $15 of the $100 that I paid. I did not feel that was adequate. Corporate offices led me to believe that would do something for me but in the end they did absolutely nothing. Wyndham Hotel Group (from their website) = Wingate, Microtel, Hawthorne, Dream, Planet Hollywood, Ramada, Days Inn, Super 8, Howard Johnson, Travel Lodge, Knights Inn. I know I will be avoiding these businesses in the future.
I am very sorry to hear about your subpar experience in our non renovated room. The rooms are not renovated, but should be clean and well maintained. I will make it right for you. Thank you.
I reserved this inn in the priceline express.
Although it was cheap price (122$/night, was it cheap ??), they gave me first floor room, in fact it was semi-underground.
So in this room, the wifi could not connected at all.
Furthermore the mattress and the bed foundation was not fitted, so I sit the corner, the bed was tilted.
It was so dangerous, I should fix it by myself.
And there was no breakfast included, I should ate outside restaurant.
We have young child, it was so inconvenient.
I never visit this inn again.
Dear Drdoogi: Thank you for your recent review of your stay with us. I apologize that your experience was less than satisfactory. Upon your review, we checked the room and corrected the bed frame problem. It was a quick replacement. In the future, please do not hesitate to contact hotel front desk to report any problem our housekeeping manager may have missed. It would be our pleasure to immediately correct the problem.

We loved the Ramada in Moab! The location is perfect and the Pancake house is phenomenal! We had breakfast there all 3 mornings we were in Moab! And within 15 minutes you are at the entrance to Arches National Park! The shower-and its double head was amazing! The bed was amazing! So soft and so comfortable! The bedding was amazing as well! The TV was a nice perk as well! The room was clean and there is plenty of parking!
My family stayed at the Ramada Moab for a week. It was one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in, in a long time. We had a kitchen suite which worked so well for us as we have two children. It was clean and I loved the granite countertop in the bathroom. I wish I could have taken it home with me! We had a great time at the pool and they also have an onsite restaurant/pancake house that was delicious! The staff was so friendly and understanding. I couldn't have wished for a better time. Thank you so much Ramada Moab!
