Clean clean and more clean. Decorated very modern, but of course with a nice southwest touch. Huge flat screen. Eco lighting and the coffee pod maker were the killer touches for me. Then the double shower head just totally made me jump for joy. Hot and tons of pressure. Bathroom was super clean and modern with the wall toilet style. I flip/remodel homes for a living so I am always checking out the design of places I stay.
Check in was very efficient. The rooms are very quiet. Think this was an intention during it's conception. Very close to everything. Unfortunately I think there should be some other places open later than 10 besides a Denny's for us Night owl travelers. God I am soooooooo sick of nothing being open after 10 besides crappy diner food. (Well it is not THAT bad actually ha ha). Anyway HIGHLY recommended. For the overall value I would say this is the model that ALL chains must follow for success. Clean and modern rooms less than a hundred per night. I feel the motel industry is a total rip in this country for the most part. You get too little for too much.

We booked this hotel on Hotwire so we didn't initially know what we were getting. After finding out and reading reveiws we were a little worried about what we would find. Our family was pleasantly suprised when we found a newly remodeled and very comfortable hotel. The hotel is right in downtown Moab close to restaurantes, shops, etc.

The Ramada Moab Downtown is perhaps in the best location - on Main St., right next to the Moab Brewery, shops, galleries. Further, Kane Creek Road is right behind the hotel and it takes you deep into the beautiful red rock canyons of Canyonlands quickly.
The hotel is fine, but nothing special. Our room was old, but clean. The air conditioner was loud. The windows didn't open. And because we were staying in a room close to the lobby, it was a bit noisy. On the plus side, there is free wifi and excellent coffee in the room! The hotel doesn't have free breakfast, but the receptionist gave us a voucher for some $ off the Pancake House, with which the hotel shares a parking lot. Because we were in town for the adventure, we didn't really care about the breakfast too much! :)
Overall, if you are looking for affordable lodging in a very convenient location, the Ramada is a good choice.
