“Seriously!”
Reviewed November 2, 2013 via mobile

Oh dear, how sad was this. Yes I am sure it is unusual, but there is a definite feel of tiredness here. The 'tour' was given with a weary, ' I have done this a hundred times' feel. The shop sold soda but charged for a cup!!!!! And no refills. Some real paranoia about taking pictures, they commented on being misrepresented by previous visitors. We did wander around the other shops, did not take in the zoo - not really inclined to spend any more money. Overall not good value for money. A whole lot of better attractions nearby.

“Natural Living?!”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

Incredible! From the outside this looks like the common roadside tourist attraction, but I am SO glad we stopped to check out this home and take the short tour. You just won't believe it! We rate this a Don't Miss if you are in the area.

We are moab locals and love to get away to have fun and enjoy this amazing home and all the things to see. Friendly staff, neat history and cute lil petting zoo.

“Solid Value”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

I enjoy the off beat attraction and this certainly qualifies. Take a break from looking at all that beautiful scenery and visit. The house is amazing as are the grounds. Lots of vintage signs, some great welded sculptures, a stuffed donkey and a lot of old stuff. Try it you will probably like it.

“1950s Kitch - great fun!”
Reviewed September 9, 2013 via mobile

This was on our list on places to stop when travelling from Moab to Mesa Verde....and I would recommend! There is some fun history to the place and the tour was great fun. The lady that showed us around was local and told us about the area when she was growing up. We skipped the zoo (bit pricey) but loved the building and its quirkiness. A cool bit of 50's Kitch on our US road trip!!
