“My 3 year old daughter had a ball!”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

Okay, so the young girl in the actual Hole in the Rock doesn't give a flying rat's, and she's open about it. We didn't do the tour, because she had such a wonderful attitude. The junk that's in that shop is, well... The cowboy in the general store was very nice. The petting zoo, although expensive, was worth it. My three year old wanted another round of treats for the animals (small bucket of grain and a few carrot slivers = $5. Yikes.) They have some great animals, worth seeing up close. She loved the zebra, the deer, and the camel. Don't waste your time in the trading post; that lady was so rude after she decided it was unlikely we were going to buy something.... Chicken or the egg, lady.

“never seen anything like it.”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

It was the most odd and intriguing place, I recommend the 12 min tour, it is crazy what's in there. We didn't plan it into our vacation, just stumbled onto it... Glad we did.

“Touristy, but definitely worth seeing”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

The Hole 'N the Rock home is definitely worth seeing, even at $6 a person for about a 15 minute tour. They've added a zoo to the attraction, but we were in a hurry, so just did the actual home and gift store.

“Would live there if I could”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

This was a neat quick stop right along the highway. Neat tour of the home and history of the Hole 'N the Rock. A must of those wanting to learn and experience a bit of history. A zoo for the kids.
