“Good homestyle food”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

A full dinner, complete with large slice of ham, homemade mashed potatoes and homemade corn pudding, for $7.25. Food was very good, service was good also, and the price was definitely right! Good small-town diner, would return if back in Appotomatox!

“Everyone recommends”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

While we were in Appomattox there must have been at least a half dozen people who recommended Granny Bee. That may be because there just aren't that many choices. While the food was "homey" it was not great by a long shot, except for the onion rings.

“Okay food - nothing spectacular”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

We had lunch at Granny Bee's in Appomattox over the Labor Day weekend. The service was a little slow and the food quite average. The prices were okay as well, not inexpensive, but about right for the quality of food. If you want a meal that will fill you up for a mid-range price, then this restaurant works for you.

“Nice price, nice .place”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

Granny Bee's is NOT fancy. It's a diner and has nothing fancy to it. However the food was good. It wasn't fancy, but it was nice. The prices were good and it was cooked well. I ordered the prime rib. It was very good and made me happy. We would eat there again.

“Ok”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

Food was ok, service was slow because she was so busy. The highlight was the locals and their conversations. Coconut pie and pecan pie were good and we didn't spend but 20$ including tip
