My husband and I have experience working in restaurants as servers and cooks. We are not food snobs, but pay attention to the details. This place reminds me of a restaurant that should be on Chef Irvine's "Restaurant Impossible" show on the Food Network. The staff, including owners, do not pay attention to the details. Ordered 2 sodas, both were flat :( It took the waitress 10 minutes to take our order as she was busy delivering food to other tables. As this happened, we watched the owner shoot the breeze with other staff and patrons. We paid $25 for each of our meals, expecting great quality food, even the side dishes. Instead we got crap. I ordered the seafood pasta. There was absolutely no flavor to it at all.Just plain pasta with some overcooked shrimp---could have made much better at home! The side of red potatoes that my husband got with his steak were also flavorless, rock hard, and burned. His side of veggies were also bland and mushy. Would you serve something as a chef that you would not eat yourself!?! How about a little salt and pepper, butter, and/or garlic to liven things up a bit?! We did not dare ordering dessert. Overall spent over $50 on two very disappointing meals. I frown when I think of all the grocerries I could have bought with this to make flavorful meals at home. This place needs to put a little more passion and effort into what they are doing. The only thing saving this place is the view!
