“Our first and last stop in Bayfield”
Review of Gourmet Garage

Gourmet Garage
Ranked #1 of 1 Bakeries in Bayfield
Description: Pies, pastries, cheesecakes and more. The best non-kept secret in Bayfield! Stop on your way in, while your staying in our small town, and on your way out. Our pasty recipe is straight from Granny Faragher. Give them a whirl, you won't be sorry. So what are you waitin' for ?

The Gourmet Garage is always our first stop coming into town and our last stop leaving town, most times we stop every day to load up on the cookies, turnovers and danish!

Was within walking distance and walked there numerous times. Get there early as during busy season may not get best of the picks.

We were looking for an afternoon picnic snack for taking to a park. We saw this and figured "Why not pie?". What a surprise!

Great pie, outstanding pastries, and a good story too!

If you're in Bayfield, stop here!

Ok, so let me start off by saying this Gourmet Garage is a hoot! It's family owned and 26 years old and going strong. Everything is good here but let me tell you she's famous for her pies! Oh and I forgot to mention that Judy's Gourmet Garage is going for their 6th consecutive win in the best desserts category this June over on Madeline Island at the Chequamegon Chefs Exhibition. This place .... I could go on but you've got to check this place out

When you are travelling northern Wisconsin, be sure to visit Bayfield...and while in Bayfield, be sure to stop at a non-pretentious little hideway called Judy's Gourmet Garage. Tucked onto one end of a residence, this bakery is not fussy or fancy, and it's small...it almost looks like the owners converted their garage into their bakery...hence the name Judy's Gourmet "Garage" ??? But man, can they do baked goods !!! The pies are excellent, and the other baked goods are equally as tasty.

Drop in...pick up a pie...or three...and the scones are incredible, too !!!

Happy eating...enjoy !!!
