Dinner at the Rittenhouse is so much more than the food on the plate. It is an event to relish for an entire evening. There is the intimate atmosphere of the beautifully restored Inn's dining area. The verbal presentation of the menu is a novel experience. Our waiter could have described high school cafeteria fare with such ardor that the diner would have begged for more options. Some of the items were comparable to other retaurants, but our "must have" recommendations would be the Lake Superior Whitefish Chowder, anything with their risotto and the Chocolate Flourless Torte.
