“Anniversary Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

Dinner at the Rittenhouse is so much more than the food on the plate. It is an event to relish for an entire evening. There is the intimate atmosphere of the beautifully restored Inn's dining area. The verbal presentation of the menu is a novel experience. Our waiter could have described high school cafeteria fare with such ardor that the diner would have begged for more options. Some of the items were comparable to other retaurants, but our "must have" recommendations would be the Lake Superior Whitefish Chowder, anything with their risotto and the Chocolate Flourless Torte.

“Amazing Flavors in our Amazing Dinner!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

Applefest Weekend in Bayfield, had an amazing dinner at the Rittenhouse Inn. Five course meal for $59.00 was worth EVERY penny. I had the vegetable soup, mixed greens salad with pecans, feta and a light vingerette, the chicken with asparagus, carrots in an amazingly favorful sauce.. not to heavy. My husband had the chowder with lake superior trout, salad with smoked trout, greens with a bed of wild rice Wisconsin cheddar, and main entree the rack of lamb. Sooooo wonderful I cannot wait until we are able to return. We had to take our desserts as takeout since we were not able to finish this course. You will NOT be disappointed.
