Staff is very friendly and it's packed at noon. Prices are reasonable. I felt the food quality was average and was disappointed that the condiments (thousand island and so forth) was strictly institutional. It's on the way to the Antietam Battlefield.

We had a BLT and hot ham & Cheese both very good. The ladies at the counter was nice plus it is very close to the park. We should had took it back and had a picnic.

Their biscuits-n-gravy are to die for. Almost as good as my Mamm’a. It’s a little bit of a detour off the C&O Canal towpath but well worth it. Their vegetable beef soup is also the bomb.

There are no other near-the-Antietam Battlefield choices, so that jumps the review up one or two notches. That being said, the sandwiches were fine, but be careful to ask for every single topping you want. An Italian Wrap is meat and cheese, no more. No lettuce, onion, tomato; all the stuff you may ASSUME comes on an Italian sandwich. Ask! The toppings (or most of them) are free, but once you've driven away it's a little late! Other than that, perfectly adequate for a break in battlefield touring.

right next to the battlefield. My Wife and I stopped in and ordered lunch to go. generous portions and friendly service. we received our lunch and then drove back to the battlefield and ate while we read the story of the Mumma Farm.
