What a wonderful Mom & Pop BBQ...out of the way and very cozy place...seats about a max of 20 indoors. Very rustic interior...great BBQ sause not spicy and a bit sweet, brisket was perfect great taste, not too dry and only enough trim fat for great taste. Beans and sauage had great flavor was well. Wife said peach cobler wa awesome. Although a small dirve out of Del Rio, I will be visiting very often...great service!

It is a small down home type of place in DelRio, but near to Amistad NRA. Really really good bbq (and we love bbq, have been to Franklin, La BBQ in Austin). Service fantastic/ homelike. We almost missed it and feel very lucky to have found it. Almost worth driving to Del Rio again just to go back there!

Really good BBQ near the Lake. The food is cheaper than other BBQ place and the people here are always friendly. The Ribs and brisket are the best, but its a really good deal on the 1/2 smoked chicken.

After spending the night in Comstock without dinner, I was starving when I pulled into Del Rio around noon. So, the beef brisket plate did more than satisfy my hunger. The meat was tender, but it lacked the distinctive slow smoked flavor a good barbeque should have . I prefer a dry rub, and that also was not on evidence. The sides were also ample but had that weird artificial preservative flavor you find from supermarket salads.

Went with 7 others for lunch on the way to big bend. Had BBQ chicken. Really good as was coke slaw and beans. Several had chopped beef sandwiches or plates. All of it was really good. Great lunch stop. Not fancy, just good.
