Hyatt Regency Saipan

Pros - every room appears to have an ocean view, grounds landscaping like a beautiful garden, Sunday brunch was the best I've encountered - every dish was delicious, and the entire staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful.

Cons - bed in rooms are hard, hard, hard and make it hard to sleep, also making it hard to sleep is the air conditioning which is obviously controlled by the hotel (perhaps to save on power?) even at lowest setting the room was still hot. Bathtub floor showed some rust stains where shower water hit floor due to worn out shower curtain which could not contain water - sorry but I was not going to adjust the nozzle towards the shower wall and try to squeeze my body against it just to take a decent shower so I kept it pointed towards the middle where it should be.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. The beach, pool, etc. are all nicely maintained and wonderful to see/enjoy. The rooms are simply adorned and spacious - but could use a bit of TLC or makeover for the dated bathrooms (old plumbing, lacking bath amenities, etc.); cleanliness was so-so. I spent many hours sitting on the deck relaxing, reading, watching the sunset, etc. The gym was a nice surprise - lots of good equipment, good space, and well taken care of. Restaurants are quality, but very pricey. DJs Deli is convenient for a quick snack or a cookie fix. Overall, the hotel is fine, I enjoyed my days... but somehow I felt it a bit lacking, like I expected more from a Hyatt (softer/better linens? more of a lux feel to room?).

Rooms have nice views though the decor could use upgrading. Its nice and clean though. The super shallow warm beach is right in front and its just amazing!! Food and beverages served right on the sand is super relaxing. The next best thing about it is the restaurants at the hotel. The three restaurants , Japanese/sushi, American and Italian. They have themed nights for the food at Kili Cafe so there is some variety if you eat there every night. Beautiful gardens and grounds and service is usually good. Best place to stay in Saipan. They also have Camp Hyatt for the kids. Awesome spa massages too!

Room Tip: Upper floor rooms with a view is best.

Hafa Adai from the paradise island of Saipan!

Firstly, thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you and your family had a wonderful time at our hotel. I will be sure to share this with our food & beverage team, Club Elan, and i Sagua Spa who are always delighted to read reviews such as this.

We believe that our mission is to “wow” our guests and we are delighted to do just that. That being said I have talked to the director of rooms in regards to the décor and we are currently looking at ways to help improve this. If you plan on taking a trip here next month, please do try our seasonal special at the spa – Coconut Bounty package.

My wife and I spent a very pleasant 3 days here in a Regency Club Room. The hotel location is excellent with delightful landscaping and water features going down to a fine sand beach and clear waters.

The Regency Club had great snacks and friendly staff. We found the restaurants and facilities that we used all of a very high standard.

Overall a very pleasant stay and and we hope to return again soon.

The view of Hyatt is very perfect. The garden, the swim pool, the beach and sea in front of the hotel is awesome! Guys work for Hyatt were very nice to us and gave us wonderful service. The bar and restaurant covered Italian food, Japanese food, Chinese food and sea food, etc. Tropical sangria and drinks taste very delicious and remarkable. The best of advantage of Hyatt is, it is located nearly to Managaha Island. The transpotation to there was very convenient, we took the speedboat to the Managaha directly. It was fast and cool!

Room Tip: Executive Room with good location and free food

I spent 5 nights with my family. The location is Amazing, beautiful beach and crystal water just in front of it. Tropical gardens gives a relaxing feeling.
Staff is really kind and always smiling. Maybe not quick....., but we do not expect high efficiency in these islands.
Nice pool, and great SPA.
Negative note: food! We tryed only Giovanni's, that is a "real fake" italian restaurant. What a pity....... Also food at the Club is not acceptable for this kind of hotels, both for breakfast and for happy hour. Especially at breakfast, in peak time, always waiting for missing staffs and food....
My suggestion: avoid peak season, enjoy beaches an sea, stay not more than 4/5 days, keep on diet!
I'll probably be back soon.
