We were a party of 6 and we either had the the steak n'cake -Petit beef filet with spicy crab cake dungeness crabmeat hollandaise, tomato salsa or we had the petit fillet of beef - 8oz. steak. Those in our party who ordered the crab cake said it was amazing as we all agreed was the beef. You order your side dishes and salad/soup as extras. Each side dish can easily feed 2 or 3 people. We ordered parmesan potatoes, sweet white corn, scalloped potatoes au gratin, truffle whipped potatoes, and onion rings. Some ordered salads to start and we enjoyed a bottle of white and red wine with our meal. The service was superb, with each member of the service team doing their job very well. Beautiful ambiance in the restaurant and wonderful view of the Bay bridge lit up at night. Would love to go to this restaurant again. Well done!

We loved the location, we loved the view, we loved so much. The staff wasn't all that sincere and the food wasn't completely ideal- I am a fish (but no other meats) eater which left me with one option on the menu and yes, it's a roast house one would hope in a city the breadth of SF, that there would be a couple of options.

Should you grow tired of "California cuisine" while visiting or residing in San Fran, Epic is a great departure. I had the bone-in rib eye, wife had the short ribs - great "comfort food" Also loved the warm spinach salad. I wouldn't suggest this is a trendy spot, but the atmosphere was cool enough that my wife and I had good time to accompany our great food.

We were very impressed, my wife said " you hear about steaks melting in your mouth, now I know what they mean". Our meals and service were excellent, it was worth it. Not a quite place, the Giants were playing in the World Series nearby, there was the occassional cheer from the bar area which made it fun. Oh yeah, we picked this place for the view and that was pretty sweet too! If we're ever in town again we'll be back.

What a surprise this place was! It is located along the Embarcadero walkway with a beautiful view of the bay and bridge! The weather was a little chilly, so there was some concern when we were seated outside in their beautiful patio area. It wasn't an issue at all, in fact there was a crackling fire in their beautiful stone fireplace that kept us all warm and toasty! The tables were perfectly set and the staff was attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. If you go to this restaurant, please do yourself a favor and sit outside. Well worth the price based on experience and culinary delights!
