Waterbar SF have amazing food menu and friendly staff. My personal favorite their Brunch Menu. The Mascarpone Stuffed Grilled Cakes so... Yummy and not too sweet! And there's the view the Bay Bridge...

As requested, we were seated inside by a window with a full-on view of the Bay Bridge! Awesome! We were also right next to a two-story aquarium! The three of us chose the prix fixe menu for lunch which consisted of a delicious salad, seafood entree and an elaborate dessert. The salad consisted of heirloom tomatoes, avocado and topped with oven-crisped rice and a vinaigrette dressing. The entree was a filet of a white fish atop squash-filled ravioli and a fabulous sauce. The dessert was a fantastic huge chocolate dream. As the birthday boy, mine arrived with a lit candle and "Happy Birthday" in frosting scrolled around the lip of the bowl! We started with delicious cocktails and then split a bottle of white wine.

Given the reviews on TA, we expected more and were disappointed. View is great, service is professional, but the food was not very good.

Love this restaurant. The food and views are fabulous. We were initially seated in the 2nd room which has terrible views. I feel like the host tried this to see if we would accept subpar seating but did move us when we vocalized our displeasure. Our waiter was really great and made recommendations when asked. We ordered a half dozen oysters as an app which were good. Our fish entrees were delicious as was the wine. I highly recommend Waterbar and look forward to a future visit.

One of my favorite places to come to every time I visit San Francisco. I enjoy coming about mid-day and snagging an outdoor table with friends. On a clear and sunny day it is fabulous. A couple dozen or so oysters ($1 each during midday) and a couple bottles of bubbly and catch up with friends! We also ordered calamari and prawns to share. Never a bad time here!
