Inexpensive and decent food. The rice bowls were the best. Service was fine. Didn't care for the health insurance surcharge on the bill. It's a way to advertise lower prices and inflate them with just a tiny notice on the menu.

Our last restaurant visit of a ten day California trip proved, despite outward appearances, to be among the best and most memorable. In fact, if it weren't for the noisy family atmosphere and banal decor it would have rated an "excellent" all round. Located in the Sunset district and kitty corner to the Golden Gate Park and the Botanical Gardens, it appealed to us simply by reason of its proximity to our B & B. Once we tackled the menu, however, everything changed from average to fabulous, guided by our extremely friendly and patient Erica. The best news was that bottles of wine were half price on Tuesday nights, which made the total cost of our meal even more attractive. We started with crispy calamari with chipotle sauce, then moved on to a delicious and copious Japanese Wasabi Bowl with Hawaiian Poke for my wife and a Hawaiian Teriyaki Bowl with grilled Mahi-Mahi for myself. Already sated and in heaven, we allowed Erica to lure us into sharing a dessert of fried dolce de lecce spring rolls with vanilla ice cream and when we rolled our eyes at that, along came manager Sean to greet us personally. A great revelation and experience all round.

Went for Tapas and drinks and it was devine. So many places set bread out for an early dining graze but this place had the edamame sans pods and cute little pretzel bites. I'm used to having to work for my edamame so I was delighted that they were "de-podded". Being at a seafood place, the Korean Sticky ribs may seem like an odd choice but they were the right combination of sweet and spicy. The meat fell right off the bone. All-in-all finger licking good; literally. The sweet potato fries were also delicious. The sauces that came with it were all so flavorful that it literally became difficult to decide which one to dip the fries in by everyone at our table. The Inside Out roll was also amazing. I live in a landlocked area so to have fish that fresh and tasty was too tempting to pass up.

And we got so many different cocktails that honestly it's difficult to say which was my favorite. The bartenders are experienced and any of their drinks was well worth it.

We ordered a korean barbecue style rice bowl with a combo of the soup of the day and a small salad. The rice bowl was huge and could easily be shared with another person, while the soup and salad were ebough to fill your tummy if you weren't that hungry. We absolutely loved all the dishes. For drinks, we ordered a tropical and a lemon grass ice tea, they were both unsweetened, but extra sugar could be added to your liking. Overall, it's a bit more pricey than the average restaurant, but it also serves great food to justify this.

We were in San Francisco for 8 days and this restaurant was by far the best we ate in. The fish was very fresh and so tasty. I had a salmon club sandwich and I literaly couln't stop saying that was the best sandwich I've ever had.
