The chefs and wait staff here are culinary students and give you extra special care and food presentation. I was here for lunch and had a lovely pork loin, risotto, and steamed greens combo - all for under $11. The meal was topped off by a cappuccino (the server told us he made it 3 times to get it "just right") and cookie sampler. You can choose from a varied selection of salads, sandwiches or entrees; I believe the menu changes weekly but you have about six options in each category. The service can be slow at times, I'm told, but our service was very good. You'll have to be sure school is in session or the restaurant will be closed! They're located in downtown San Francisco near Union Square and the Financial District so it's a cost effective, convenient, and tasty option for lunch or dinner.
