Cute little style. Our room was rather small but was clean and decently taken care of. Small parking spots and limited but free! No bath tub in our room. Also no mini fridge or micro wave. Comfy beds and pillows! All in all one of the better motels I have been to!

This former motor inn of years gone bye has been turned into a decent boutique-type hotel. It's location on busy US 101 towards the Golden Gate Bridge make it a + and a - all at the same time. Noisy if your room faces the street, but we saw the reviews and everyone- including the very friendly and helpful staff - told us to request a room on the 3rd (top) floor in the rear. Very little noise in our large, nicely appointed room. Shower stall is small, but bathroom is standard size. The location was great for us as the property offers FREE parking which is a premium in San Francisco (where many of the downtown hotels charge $40, $50 and up per night to just to park!!). We took public transportation at .75 each to Ghiradelli Square-Fisherman's Wharf-Pier 39 waterfront tourist area. Took multiple trips the cable cars and more. For two days we never had to take the car out!! HUGE savings in gas + parking + time!! We even walked (about 15 mins.) to the Presidio of SF where the wonderful Walt Disney Family Museum is located. Two nearby restaurants/shopping neighborhoods really make this a great find in the City by the Bay.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a room away from the street and on the top, 3rd floor. You'll never notice th...

This place surely was the gem of the Hotels we stayed in San Francisco. The location great, The staff amazing. The rooms huge, clean & user friendly. Abit noisy but hell you are in the guts of San Francisco. The breakfast average but then they tell you this when you check in. Would stay here again with no apprehension.

Room Tip: We were on the 3rd floor at the back of the hotel. Still abit noisy as our rooms backed onto a side...

Well, there was good and bad here. I guess I will start with the good.
Advantages:
-close to bus stop
-friendly staff
-decently clean
-a/c in room
-fairly decent location
-free wifi
-free parking
-big tv in room (flat screen)

Disadvantages:
-tiny tiny room
-tiny tiny bathroom
-on busy/loud street
-gross carpet on the floor
-expensive for what you get...

All this being said: San Francisco is a very expensive city. My boyfriend and I were on a 3 week camping/hoteling road trip. We were in SF for 4 days. We picked this hotel because we had a car and there was free parking which was important for us. The free wifi was also great. My biggest issue about this hotel which i did not mention above is the "Free Breakfast"... all it is is BREAD & OATMEAL... and a couple of apples and oranges, and obviously coffee & tea. But it was ridiculous. I don't even think they should be able to stay breakfast included because its not breakfast. Its basically tea & a snack....
Stay here if you get a smoking good deal, otherwise I would recommend staying elsewhere. Especially if you are a light sleeper and you like a hearty breakfast!

The bus route system is super easy from here, takes you to fisherman's wharf and union square. It is approx a 30 minute walk there. Uphill everywhere it seems!

Either way, enjoy SF. What a beautiful & amazing city!

Room Tip: Ask for the bigger rooms. We were given a small room because we wanted to get in there right away an...

For the price, this place SUCKS... $200 a night for a tiny, stuffy, noisy room... As my husband said, "continental breakfast? Not sure which continent they're referring to... bread, or ummm... bread? Oh wait, and squeezee strawberry jelly! Perhaps an apple or an orange?" Pitiful! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

Room Tip: AVOID... But if you have to stay here request one of the rooms set back from the road if you can...

stayed here in the cheapest room. $100 for a double bed right on the highway. the room was small, very clean (except the carpet), with a stall shower (no bathtub). it was exactly what i expected. San Francisco is expensive so a clean room for $100 is okay with me. the room had modern furnishing and fresh paint. it looked like they were getting ready to replace the carpet. the continental breakfast was perfect for me, but if you like donuts stay elsewhere. it was coffee, juice, toast, instant oatmeal, and fresh fruit. the road noise doesn't bother me, but it is right on the highway so if you don't use ear plugs ask for a room in the back, but beware they are more expensive. i would stay there again. oh and they have free parking!

Room Tip: ask for a room in the back to avoid road noise.

Affordable place in a great location. Right on lombard street, few minutes away from pier 39 and the Golden Gate, and it's clean! . Limited choice of breakfast but what the heck, you're in SF few minutes away from the pier , save some space in your tummy for great seafood at the pier , the clam chowder's great btw ! :). I would recommend this place.
