We stayed for 5 nights in March and had a fantastic time. We had requested a quiet room and on arrival were allocated a fourth floor room to the rear of the hotel. The room was comfortable, extremeley clean with very nice bathroom and very quiet, just what we wanted.
We loved the location but be prepared to walk a lot in SF.It was a short walk to Union Square,Chinatown and North Beach. We enjoyed excellent breakfasts at Sutter pub a few minutes walk away and the cafe across the road, ideal if you're waiting for a trip pick up.There is also a bar on the corner with a good selection of local beers.
We highly recommend a visit to Yoshi's jazz club especially if Tommy Igoe Band are playing. Beach Blanket Babylon and earthy Saloon Bar for some great RnB.
We are glad we stayed here rather than the more touristy Fishermans Wharf area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and should we visit amazing SF again we would definately stay here.More
