Pretty standard, somewhat upscale hotel. Cost was about $240/night with $62 valet parking. I know that's pretty standard pricing for the city, but charging another $15 for WiFi is just downright unfriendly!

We were in town for a wedding and they had a block of rooms here for guests. The room was very comfortable, especially the king size bed. There was plenty of room for two of us and we did not feel cramped for our three night stay. The location was also perfect, right off market street and close to pretty much anything you would want to get to in SF. The hotel charges $15 a day for wifi, which seems silly to me when you are already paying $200 plus a night and most low end hotels now include free wifi. Also, they were working on their spa/sauna while we were there so everything was closed. The room does have a coffee maker which is nice, but does not have a fridge you can use. All in all, it was comfortable and great location but nothing over the top.

Had a chance to base a three-day visit to SF at the Marriot and we were very pleased. Customer service is the best I seen. They took care of every little thing. Room was spacious and clean and modern. Nice quiet AC. Super location was close to everything.

Not the best location, but good enough for the long weekend in may, lots to do walking distance. I found the theatre and restaurants within walking distance offered high quality food at moderately high prices, which I was expecting as it s a large west coast metropolis.

Hotel had Great friendly service expected from any large scale Marriott, charges for wifi and Valet parking are crazy but to be expected in any large city. Clean hotel and conference amenities.

Starbucks in lobby was a plus for me, but found they closed early afternoon before my per-evening caffeine fix I needed.

I wasn't wowed by anything but I didn't expect to be. Standard Marriott in an excellent location. Would go back anytime. Service was good. Nice big pool and jacuzzi. I didn't check but was told that the Starbucks IN the hotel is more expensive than regular ones. There is one just on the corner of Market Street.
