But I guess that is par for the course given the great location just steps away from abundant restaurants and shopping along Pacific, Polk and broadway surrounding the property; as well as the free parking for hotel guests. Sure beats paying $35 per night parking around the union square area.
We also chose the hotel due to its comfortable, down hill 10 min walk to Fisherman's wharf and ghirardelli square attractions.
As for the hotel /room itself, it's average at best abs is really showing its age. Room is clean enough but quite dated. One of the electric outlets was loose and had trouble keeping my phone chargers plugged in.
Bed sheets were not very clean/ comfortable , as I didn't get a good night sleep from all the scratching during the night. Found toiletries lacking, and the hotel was noisy during the night from all the commotion and car doors slamming coming from the central courtyard parking down below.
In conclusion, I would not stay here again, as there are better and comparable priced properties near by
