My friends and I came for a reunion and stayed a few extra days to explore SF. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Salome, Mariany, Gabriel, Alfredo, Kevin, and Alejandro for their great hospitality and making our stay extra enjoyable!

An awesome front desk crew AND a surprise upgrade makes for a wonderful stay!!!!

We booked direct with Hotel Abri since they not only had one of the cheapest rate when I checked for an overnight stay last minute during the Labor Day weekend, but their location cannot be beat, right there around the corner from Powell (Cable car turnaround) and Market St., Union Square! Wow, the front desk crew - gracious, friendly and eager to help! And because I booked direct, they gave me a free room upgrade, from the cheapest room to their best room, a spacious King Suite on the top floor, as a gesture of appreciation1 What a welcoming and pleasant stay - made me and my sister in law feel so at home! We even got an hour extension to check out - we walked from the ferry building so an extra hour made such a difference especially for us seniors. Thanks Hotel Abri!! Will be returning!!!

Small cozy hotel

The room was small and quaint. The beds were nice and soft. The WiFi was a little slow, but I did not pay for the premium. The room might be a little tight with more than one person. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy the bottle of wine that was in the welcome kit.

Very bad experience! Look at my picture

The room was very small, in bad condition and with . The bathroom is very small and with an cheap curtain for shower. Small mirror at sink with poor lighting. The old conditioner was very noisy and positioned very close and at bed height. The results of cooling was zero! The pictures that I had seen with new and spacious rooms aren’t as I have found in hotel. Only the reception is modern and spacious. Very difficult moving in the cramped space of the room. Never found an hotel as this. Look at in my review. I thought that the price of the room around 290$ per night could be warranty of quality. It wasn’t! Look at my pics

Please accept my sincerest apology if we did not meet your expectations. There is no excuse for what you've experience and I've shared this with our Housekeeping Manager to see if we can switch the curtains we use. I also wanted to let you know that we do have larger rooms available such as the Urban Suite or Oasis Suite for future stay. I've also passed along your comment to our Engineering Manager so they can look into the air conditioning noise. We appreciate your feedback and apologized for the inconvenience.

My hotel stay

I like the location which is the hotel is located in the heart of the city and plenty of places to dine at. Plenty of places to see and go and plenty of ways to get there. The lobby personnel was knowledgeable of the area and what was going on.

Small but Mighty

The staff and service was excellent. They made recommendations and always offered a friendly hello and good evening. They assisted with getting our shuttle booked for the airport and even had a welcome gift for us at check in. The location was great, walking distance to all modes of transportation and shopping. The only slight downside is the size of the room. There wasn't much space to move around our luggage and there was not a safe in the room. The rooms were clean and have a refrigerator, small closet and bathroom with a shower. We didn't mind the room size as we didn't spend much time in the room, but just an FYI.

Room tip: No safe, other amenities as expected.
