“You get what you pay for... But not too bad”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

Not too bad for a 2 night stay. I was outside for the whole day site seeing. This was kinda city close to the airport. Its located on a busy street. Rooms were clean but old. Lot of parking within the building complex. Hot water was available. When i read other reviews, people complained about noise from outside, but I didn't hear anything. If you just going to sleep, this is not at all a bad place.

Front desk was not friendly at all. I felt like I was bothering them by asking for a room. Arrived well before office was to close. Asked for an extra towel and was refused. NO AMENITIES AT ALL!!!!!! No air conditioning, no screens on windows so you can leave them open b/c there in no air, no phone service unless you pay for it even if you have a calling card or 800 #, no refrigerator, no microwave, the rooms were stinky, gave me a single bed when asked for two, wouldn't answer call to front desk and rang bell at front desk 3 times before anyone answered. Way too much money for what you get. I just spent 10 days travelling from Oklahoma to California and this was the most expensive motel and the crappiest by far!!!! Would never recommend this place to anyone...

Cheap but would never stay here again! Would rather pay more and stay somewhere that's cleaner, closer to downtown and has a better breakfast. The floors were sticky, the blankets were dirty (one of them had a huge coffee or maybe even a blood stain on it), the water pressure very low and I felt uncomfortable the whole time. If you have a car, the location isn't too bad but the area is pretty dodgy and old. A bus trip into town is about 45 mins. The breakfast is really crappy, they tell you it's first come first serve and it's pretty much just coffee, cereal and toast. Last but not least, the front desk is very rude!! Stayed there 2 nights and have stayed in many other bad places but this is the only place I felt the need to go out of my way and leave a review. When you pay little for a hotel, you can't expect a lot but my stay there was just wrong! Pay a little more and go somewhere else, it'll be worth it!!

Hotel is located fairly outside the center, one would have to take bus for about 1 hour to reach the center, but transportation is available 24/7. Lot of humble restaurants nearby and safe to walk around in the night. Car parking was also safe. Breakfast can be improved nevertheless not bad. Reception staff were very engaging and polite. Always gave us directions and advices when asked for. Room cleaning staff were also very polite and well mannered. On the whole it is a good price if you dont wanna end up over spending on accomodation while in SF.

Room Tip: Book early to get good prices.

We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 am because our flight was delayed. Person in charge at that time did not respond well and was sleeping next to the reception area. He turned off the bell for service and we had to spend the night in the car. This happened on June 24, 2013

This hotel was undoubtedly the worst I ever visited. We stayed August '12. I have never felt the need to place a negative review before but this one takes the biscuit. We arrived, exhausted, at 5am only to be met by a scowling man behind the reception who viewed us as the ultimate inconvenience. He griped about the name given when booking and kept us there, at that time of the morning, for a minimum of 40 minutes. We booked a taxi from reception on the last night....by taxi they mean the same scowling man drives you in his private car. This would not bother me if the man had a pleasant demeanour but alas no. The hotel itself is Ok, rooms are adequate although we were also forced to move rooms during our stay. The hotel is also a 45 minute bus journey from downtown San Francisco. It's located in a dodgy area so if you must stay here then be careful!

No iron is available in the room. Just because the price is somewhat reasonable, does not mean the front desk staff needs to be so nasty and rude. I will never stay here again. I rather pay extra and stay in a Motel 6. They make motel 6 look like a 5 star hotel when you compare the two.
