“Nice Rooms and friendly service”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

Spent 4 days with wife and daughter arriving on feb the 14th.
Taxi from airport is around $60 dollars, depending on the time of day. Since it was our first visit to SFO, we decided to stay close to all the "action" so we chose the Warf as our ground zero. We decided on this hotel due to the overall good reviews on tripadvisor. We were not disappointed.
Staff was very friendly and amicable, even though no one helped me out with luggage upon arrival. Room was a double queen, spacious enough and very clean. No Safebox in room.
Shops and restaurants abound all around, so lack of restaurant inside the hotel is no big deal. Breakfast is offered in the mornings if you dont want to leave the premises, but i would recommend an organic restaurant one block down towards pier 39 on same street. Free Wifi and coffee in room are both very welcome.
Overall, friendly, clean and great location. Would come back.

Room Tip: We stayed in room with a view to the parking lot. Little light from outside, but no annoying noise f...

We (family of 3) stayed in a 1 bedroom suite overlooking Beach Street. The view was nothing to write home about, but the suite suited us just fine. In the bedroom area we had 2 queen beds and the usual bedroom furniture c/w flat screen TV. The bathroom was separate which was great as if someone was still sleeping you didn't disturb them whilst showering, etc. The little lounge area was a blessing as if one of us wanted to watch TV later in the evening or get up early in the morning we could go sit there without bothering anyone else. There was also a small fridge and a coffee machine in this area. (we did have to chase up house keeping on a couple of occasions to get this replenished)
Our one complaint would be we were situated above the car park, so we got a bit of noise from that, plus most early mornings we had to endure a noise, which we think might have been a large bin being dragged out or a roller door opening. It didn't last for long, but it was loud enough to wake us all up!
We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that. We used the 'market' a few times though for late night snacks. It was great to have that down in the lobby.
Location wise, it was good. We walked everywhere until the day we left then had the convenience of collecting our Hertz hire car from the building next door.
Another place I would highly recommend taking advantage of whilst staying here is City Segway Tours. It's really close by and one of the best things you will do whilst in San Francisco.

A great spot for the 'tourist' experience. Staff friendly and the property is very clean and pristine. If you are and 'In and Out' fan, couldn't be better.
The cab ride to the Airport is about $55 and the number of cab companies and town cars is expansive…but had some issues having them come at that appointed hour.
Good directions offered for the tourist and given in several languages.

I come to San Francisco twice a year and usually stay by the airport but this was a family vacation, so Fisherman's Wharf was our choice.
We found the hotel easily enough and there was ample parking directly next door to the hotel. We checked in with no problem. We had two adjoining rooms, one of which was a suite. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. Plenty of room in the bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Plenty to do and see in the area. We had a relaxing evening and slept quite well.
The next day we checked out but had to store our luggage (quite a lot I am afraid to say). The front desk staff had no problems with storing our mountain of bags.
Later in the day we realised that a watch was left in the room. I called the hotel and the watch was found and stored with our bags. A special thank you to Ed, who took care of this for us!
I have stayed at many hotels around the world but the staff at this one seemed to excel at their duties more then most. So to the staff of the hotel, I say "Thank You!"
Next time I am in the city for an night, I plan on staying here.

Room Tip: We had a suite and a double room. The suite was bigger and on the corner however the double was an e...

First off I 'm a half full kind of person so this is a great location for visiting Fishermans Wharf. It was clean and spacious but very loud. The first night someone above was slamming doors and jumping, we called front desk and they took care of it. The second night the traffic of heavy vehicles kept us awake all night squeaking brakes and other noises. Rather expensive night of no sleep. So if you chance it Do Not stay on the second floor facing the street. I won't be going back.

We recently stayed here and it turned out to be a great choice. The rooms are extremely clean and quiet, and offer comfortable beds and bedding for a good nights rest. Also the curtains and room configuration allow for a dark environment for sleeping. The breakfast area had very good coffee and freshly prepared food by a very helpful and friendly staff. I will stay here again when
I return to San Francisco. I would have loved a small area to have a glass of wine or a cold drink before turning in. That aside, I give it a 5 star rating for cleanliness and helpful staff..

We Picked this Marriot for a quick stay on the way home from Alaska. Very clean and quiet for the sleep that we so much needed. Friendly courteous staff did all they could to help us out. Small restaurant on site was all we needed.
