Located at walking distance to most touristic locations. Clean room and comfortable bed. Would go again and would recommend for a few days stay. Don't understand the purpose of the resort fees which cover what is included at any other hotels.

Excellent location, 2 blocks away from the sea front and tourist locations. Nice touch to have flavoured water at bottom of lift every day and complimentary coffee in the mornings. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Only criticism was it took nearly 3 weeks to return the $400 holding deposit to my debit card!!

Room tip: Rooms near lift can be a little noisy. Avoid if light sleeper!

Doormen make you feel welcomed! Hotel is in a wonderful location. Centrally located. Hubby loved the bed!! And lyft and uber drivers minutes away. We weren't disappointed. Everything you need is around the corner (pretty much)

Bad surprise at check out, $30 / day added for no associated service.
Too bad the location is great, very close to the wharf, the rooms are quite small but clean and had no issue with noise, so had a resting night.

Please allow me to apologize that you were not made aware of our Guest Amenities Fee during the booking process. While I am not sure if you booked directly with Hotel Zoe, or through a different channel, I can share that if it was directly through Hotel Zoe, we work hard to over communicate all information related to room rates, taxes and fees. Specifically the Guest Amenity Fee we do explain it in detail in multiple locations on the website, as well as list it in detail during the booking process. To ensure we over communicate this, we do list it out in detail again on the confirmation email and pre-arrival email. It is important to us that our guests make an informed decision when choosing Hotel Zoe as their destination in the Bay Area. Again, thank you for providing us this valuable feedback. I hope we will have an opportunity to serve you more favorably in the future.

Overall, Hotel Zoe is a nice hotel, clean and friendly staffs. But the room we had a courtyard view and I've been told that it is a nice courtyard view when I booked the hotel. Unfortunately, our room didn't really have a courtyard view. The view from the window is just a solid wall. Very disappointing. So if you want to book a room with courtyard view, think twice!

It seems we provided you incorrect information as we do not sell our guest rooms with specific view types, such as a courtyard view. We certainly try to honor guest's request whenever we can, but it is not a room type we sell or even have in our system. Again, I apologize if we miscommunication that to you.
