“Good affordable Indonesian cuisine”
Reviewed July 17, 2011

It is not easy to find an affordable Indonesian restaurant in the city... but then I found Lime Tree. It is very small place but cozy, clean enough. The food is met with my expectation considering the price. They are friendly and try their best to service you. Try their "Ikan Pepes"... so yummy and inexpensive. Eating here just like eating my mom's cooking :-)

“Totally cutie place just...”
Reviewed January 2, 2008

Totally cutie place just outside of Golden Gate Park, the food is a thai-maylasion - sechwan mix, and the owner is absolutely the best when "cooking to taste". If it's spicy you want, you get spicy! Good place to get together and break (indonesian) bread and curry sauce with friends. One question: no thai coffee on the menu?

Don't bother. With all the amazing asian returants in San Francisco you can get a taste for the true non yuppy version by walking four blocks in any direction from this restuarant. If you have to go the food is good. The plates are funny shaped. And the staff is nice. I would rather have amazing food, boring plates, and a staff that couldn't speak english myself.
