Unique Boutique

Axiom hotel was a lovely treat for me and my partner. We stayed last weekend during the women's march. It's perfectly located near where we needed to be. I looked up lots of places in the area to stay, by far Axiom was best for the price. Although small and tucked away in the Union square it's rather beautiful on the inside. The library reception is well put together. Hotel staff was young and lively. Rance the fella who checked us in was very manner able and polite, Eddy the valet and bellman was just as nice. Michelle the woman who checked us out was wide awake at 5:30 am when we left. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Room tip: Ask for a high floor room

Our hard-to-beat location at Market and Powell streets makes exploring Union Square and downtown SF super simple. Plus, we love that you enjoyed our thoughtful design from the NYC based firm Stonehill & Taylor. Our design was driven around maintaining historical elements, while also instilling an accessible, thought-provoking and residential feel throughout. How nifty that you sincerely enjoyed the service provided by Rance, Eddy and Michelle - high five to each of them! Hotel Rocks

Our experience was remarkable and one to be bragged about on all social media outlets.
We contacted the hotel and spoke with the Manager Helen our flight was delayed by a day and we would not arrive on time. She assures us that our reservation was secure and there would be someone waiting at the desk when we arrived. I sincerely appreciate her honesty. We arrived a little after 1:30 am exhausted from travel and to our delight Ta'Shonnie was there waiting for us to arrive she knew of our delayed travel and had our room ready.
Such a pleasant surprise for us. She was polite and patient while checking us in, we were a bit jet lagged after 22 hours of travel.
The room was clean and spacious.
The bathroom was large equipped with hair dryer shampoo body wash and conditioner. We settled in perfect we stayed 3 days and two nights. Perfect stay
Rance helped us the day we left with a cab and our luggage.

Room tip: Ask for a room along the interior hall no noise at all

I'm ecstatic that you has such a functionally positive interaction with Helena, this is great to hear. Plus, being welcomed by Ta'Shonnie after a long and delayed travel day would certainly be a delight, in addition to your successful departure interactions with Rance. Once the jet lag wore off, hopefully you got to explore the ins and ours of our downtown boutique property, our Union Square neighborhood and the larger, lovely city of San Francisco. I'll be sure to pass along your feedback to our Housekeeping department who goes above and beyond every single day to welcome our guests as family and friends to our property. Fun fact, did you know the Axiom Hotel won the Hotel Council of San Francisco's Sustainability Award (among the 100s of SF properties) in 2019? This is a significant focus of our day-to-day operations and we're always taking additional steps to strengthen our sustainability initiatives.

Ohohoh Majic

This was our first stay ever and we will return.

Pros- Prime location in Union square you can walk to almost anything or Lyft.
The property is updated
They have a cafe
The delivery Robot Astro is something from the future you have to see it. You'd think it was from the Jetsons
The doors lock in the evening
There is valet parking that has ins and outs

Cons- anyone can walk in with you when you enter at night
They have no security at all and just ladies working by themselves that's not safe
The neighborhood is horrible 😭😭😭 not because of the people but the filth that the city needs to clean up

All in all we had a nice time. Rance in reception was very knowledgeable of the bars in the area and local dinning
Jesus and Eddy were always promt in getting our car.

Thank you very much for your detailed review. We're also very proud of the accolades you mentioned, especially our fun robot Astro and our stylish recent renovation, with our front doors opening directly to the world famous Cable Car Turnaround on Powell street. Whether you're more interested in BART/MUNI (public transit) or Lyft/Uber/Taxi we are quite literally located in the middle of the Union Square neighborhood - talk about being central for strolling, shopping, dining or sightseeing. Our automatically locking exterior doors require a key card for access (as do our elevators) to ensure employee and guest safety. We further partner with the Union Square Business Improvement District to stay ahead of this curve. We also work with the city and county of San Francisco's various departments and initiatives to better our surrounds. This is done in many ways, sometimes through volunteering management's time in the neighborhood and other times by donating a variety of items to charitable organizations.

How awesome that you had memorable and personable experiences with Rance, Jesus and Eddy - right on! Thank you again for your visit and we look forward to your return.

Lights back on!

We were doing a staycation in SF which is about an hour from where we live and one night as we're watching a movie, all of the electricty went out except the overhead lights. It was about 1:30 AM and we called down to the front desk to let them know. Ta'Shonnie, the night auditor, immediately found us a new room and hand delivered the key to us AND helped us move our bags to the new room. This is one of the many reasons that Axiom Hotel is ouor go-to hotel whenever we choose to stay over in SF.

Room tip: Any room ending in 30 is a great big nice room. It is off the elevator but it's worth having the extra space.

It's delightful to read that we were able to overcome such a unique event with our overnight team. Rock on Ta'Shonnie for sorting this straight away, what thoughtful guest service. Did you have any other highlights from your quick stay at the Axiom Hotel? Hopefully you got to check out the tasty F&B offerings from the Turn Cafe and snagged some local advice from our front of house team. Adjacent to the property, we'd recommend exploring exhibits at SFMOMA and taking in the wondrous sights of Chinatown when you're our guest again.

Nice getaway

We had a lovely one night stay. We checked in on Thursday and let on Friday. The room was clean and dust free which is a plus. We liked the ily machine with tea. The bed was comfy. Lena and Erica helped us at check in and Rance and Kevin helped us during check out all were helpful and polite couldn't be any better also Daniel helped with our car the morning we left. We would suggest getting a security guard there was a stranger at the door when we arrived that was trying to enter with us Not safe

Thank you for your great review. We also love the illy machines, plus through our partnership with them we recycle all pods to align with our strong sustainability initiatives. Not to worry, our entry doors are programmed to automatically lock and require a key card, as do the elevators (24/7) to maximize security throughout. What an outstanding number of team member name mentions as well, Helena, Erica, Rance, Kevin and Daniel - wow! We will pass along your finest regards to them for their memorable and positive service. Did you get a chance to use our Cloud (mezzanine) level for classic style arcade games or a relaxing lounge with friends/family/colleagues?
