We had a great introduction to SF on day one, touring its many neighbourhoods. Eric is very knowledgeable and it was great to be able to go from one place to another on his large and comfortable SUV. Sausalito was a very nice highlight, and the views of the golden gate and the city were awesome. Then we headed to Monterey and Carmel on day 2, on the many great scenic spots along highway 1. Was a bit foggy but Eric was able to find always spots for good pictures and we also had a nice sandwich lunch on the beach. On day 3 we went to Yosemite, quite a long drive for a one day visit but really worthed. We saw many scenic spots in the valley, waterfalls, sequoias and our two boys of 15 were able to paddle on the river as well. All in all was a great 3 days, we saw so much we could have not planned it on our own. Eric has been a great guide and we would highly recommend his services to anyone. He is a professional, you are in safe hands!

Our recent holiday included 6 days in San Francisco. There is of course plenty to see and do in and around San Francisco without having to try hard. However as we flew half way round the world it would be a sin not to visit Yosemite Park. So do we do a bus tour, do we hire a car or do we find a local guide?

We chose the guide obviously for a private tour just for the two of us, having never met and with the briefest of communication we booked Eric for a full day Yosemite tour.

We were picked up by Eric in time (early start) in large very comfortable SUV which was more than big enough and would have accommodated 6 easily so for the two of we had loads of room. Although the journey there was 4 hours it soon slipped by with lots of friendly chatter with Eric as well of lots of points of interest and history on the way including a welcome bathroom break and great lunch pickup .

We arrived mid morning to visit the giant sequoias although I would suggest they are more than a mile there Eric ;-)

From there Eric slowly introduced us to the sites and sounds on the way to the majesty of Yosemite valley. With Eric's guidance and patience we managed to see all the major spectacles and spend time on our own to see and experience the sites. Eric found us a lovely spot in the shade right by the river for lunch before visiting the valley waterfall.

It was a great pleasure to have Eric share his obvious and infectious love of Yosemite with his relaxed narration and history while keeping us cool all day while driving us to each location which was especially welcome as the day heated up.

Despite the 4 hour journey there and back and more than enough time spent in the park the day slipped by in no time. It would have been lovely to have spent more time discovering more of the park and I believe Eric can offer extended visits according to your specific requirements.

Thank you very much Eric for a wonderful day from Julie Hammond and Ian McKenzie. I we are ever get back to San Francisco we would definitely take advantage of your other tour options to explore the city and further a field.

What a fabulous and satisfying roadtrip! My family of 4 (incl 2 boys ages 10 and 14) took a 3 day tour with Eric. He picked us up in his big SUV that fit our 6 suitcases snugly from Monterey and drove us to Yosemite for 2 days there before a 3/4 day tour in SF. Eric is such a good planner, from enquiry via emails to discussing with us the plans for each day and making sure we saw what we wanted, fulfilled any "bucket lists" wishes and he also accommodated our pace and gave us enough resting time as we weren't exactly buff mountain climbers, plus toilet breaks when we needed them! He's also so knowledgeable, sharing with us golden nuggets on the history and famous people of each place and interesting stories, making great recommendations for food places that are truly local and not "touristy", and even making an impromptu stop by a pistachio/almond tree farm to show us urban fellas what these trees looked like. He was great with the boys, chatting with them, bringing them to the base of the falls when my hubby and I were too tired to walk more, and having all those great ideas for fun photo shots for the kids. Plus we think he's a skillful and safe driver! Yosemite roads are no joke, going round and round narrow mountain passes but we felt safe and had smooth rides much of the way. We had some very open sharing too on our countries' cultures and way of life and it felt more like we were traveling with a big bro than a guide. All in all it was a great 3 days spent and we're glad we made a new friend!

Eric drove us to Muir Woods and Sausalito with stops at the fortune cookie factory and some other sights along the way. He's very knowledgeable and flexible and fun for kids and adults. He's definitely worth the cost.

I visited San Fran with my two boys, 7 and 9. As a single parent, I look for safety as well as quality experiences. Eric made our "trip" efficient with top rate service! I highly recommend him. He was fantastic with the boys and even laughed at their silly jokes. He was easy to talk to as well as fun to be around. Great information about the area. SUPERIOR service!
