We took the sunset tour. It was really more than we expected. It lasted a full two hours. They advertised that there would be "appetizers", but it was more like a great meal. Great up close views of Alcatraz, Sausilito, Angel Island, and of course the Golden Gate Bridge which we went directly under. Captain Bob was awesome and knew right where to go for great views. The live music was good too. Everybody we dealt with on this cruise were great. Good work Red and White Fleet! We will be back!

My husband and I were spending a few days in San Francisco and came across the Red and White boat fleet. We booked the 60 minute bay tour and had a blast. The views were amazing and the audio tour was very informative. The price was very reasonable as well. The best way to see all the sights without walking the hills.

We took the sunset cruise with buffet meal and entertainment.
It left the pier (almost) on time, it went where it said it would- great views of Alcatraz, Salsalito and the Golden Gate Bridge, passing right underneath it and back again.
We weren't expecting much from the buffet and we weren't surprised as it wasn't great although we were surprised that there was enough to go round and there was even enough to go round.
The entertainment looked like a failed rock star (who thought he was a rock star) who to be fair was actually quite good.
If the food had been slightly better this would have been an excellent night out but as it was we thought it wasn't quite worth the money.

I believe the costs for the 1 hour Bridge + Alcatraz tour were:
Adults: 28$
Kids 18$

Departures roughly every hour.
Nice short tour.
Waters are usually choppy so expect lots of movement on the boat.
You can stay in the cabin (2 floors) or outside on the deck.
Audio device with multiple language settings included in admission.
Snack bar available to purchase drinks + snacks.
15$ photo taken of you prior to departure is available for purchase after the cruise.

* Just like everything in San Francisco, expect weather to change dramatically from one minute to the next, expect windy, wavy, conditions and vibrations from the boat as it fights to move against the current.

We took the Bridge to Bridge tour that lasted 90 minutes. It loops around under the Golden Gate, around Alcatraz, and under the Bay Bridge before returning to Fisherman's Wharf. As others have said the narration is very good, easy to hear and quite informative. We took the 2:15 tour and they had the bar open for libations. We didn't know that and had stopped over at the Boudin Bakery complex where they had cold beer and wine in their coolers, and even opened them for us.

The boats are big and comfy, you can go outside, it was windy. Or you can stay inside and still see everything. Well worth the time and money.
