Really enjoyed our meal here. The food was fresh and delicious. The combinations of ingredients were original and complemented each other well I do not eat meat, but that was easy here - had a combination of three side dishes which were delightful. Don't miss the Brussels sprouts. Restaurant was pretty and service was good. Would recommend.

We ate at Perbacco at the recommendation of my son who is a chef for his birthday. The food and service were great. They were accommodating of the gluten-free member of our party, even bringing out a complimentary gluten-free dessert at the end of the meal. When one of our party did not like the taste of his entrée (not due to any problem with the food) they cheerfully insisted he order something else. Prices were quite reasonable for being in the City.

Situated almost next door to Barbacco, Perbacco is a bit more upscale, pricier, and offers sit down bar if you're waiting to get seated at Barbacco! Excellent bartender, laid-back yet concise, and a pleasure to order from.

Our party of three dined at Perbacco for dinner and had a good experience. Our server was not only attentive, but very knowledgeable about the menu items and ingredients. We ordered a couple glasses of wine and a couple of cocktails. They have an extensive wine list, but would like to see more California vintners since many are just an hour away from the city.

We started with the Salumi Misti and the Heirloom Tomatoes salad (their version of a Caprese). We very much enjoyed the charcuterie and thought the salad was mediocre. For our main courses we shared the Risotto and Braised Short Rib. Both dishes tasted very good. The risotto was cooked and seasoned perfectly, while the beef short rib was tender, yet juicy (as it should be). For dessert we had the Bombolini and the Dark Chocolate Bonet. We thought both desserts could use a touch of sweetness. The sauces they drizzled were very light and was not really able to enhance the flavor of the desserts.

Overall, its a trendy and great place to go to for drinks. Its a great place to eat at after work or for a small get together. Their dishes I would consider as modern Italian since they have touches of traditional Italian menu items.
