It's pretty hip place in San Francisco. It's hard to get table even during the week days. Food is great, crowd is great, drinks are great. Servers extra friendly. Nice selection of rare bourbons, fine local wines and very good deserts. Try cheescake!

Great place with lively young people. The food was very fresh and tasty and a good value for SF. The building looks drab from the outside but you'll be shocked when you

Decided to go to Nopa based on the reviews here, particularly those raving about the pork chops. The reviews didn't lie, this dish is unbelievably good - I didn't even know it was possible to have a pork chops like this. The vibe is great and the service friendly, efficient and laid back. Been to about 15 restaurants in SF and this is my favourite so far.

We went on a Saturday night without a reservation. We knew it was a long shot to get a table but we were willing to wait for a spot at the bar. We enjoyed a drink and the atmosphere to bide our time. After about an hour and a half they were able to seat us. We got one of the four coveted spots in front of the kitchen. In addition to our wonderful meal we got a show. The staff seem to really be in tune with each other and put out amazing food. This is not a fancy place and the menu items are a twist on common foods. But mistake this as unsophisticated as it is quite the opposite. We had a strawberry salads and duck egg over asparagus to start. I had the pappardelle and my husband had gourmet burger. The fries that came with me husbands meal were amazingly crisp and perfectly cooked. We topped the night off with the cheesecake.

It's really best to make a reservation well in advance. You will love this place.
