Had a fantastic meal from start to finish at this classic French restaurant. The decor is a very simple elegant French style with light wood walls. The chicken liver pate served in a jar was awesome and the presentation was unique. Escargot was prepared in a nice cream sauce instead of the usual garlic butter, which added to the sophistication of the dish. The steak entree, the fish, entree, and scallop entree were all prepared with sophisticated well done sauces to compliment each dish. The chocolate dessert with hazelnut ice cream was heaven. A very nice selection of french wines appear on the wine list. In my opinion one of the best experiences in French dining in San Francisco or for that matter in France. Service was attentive and well paced.
