Owner description: GoCar, the World’s First Storytelling CarFold up the map – put away the guidebook – and prepare for a city adventure you won’t soon forget! These clever yellow talking convertibles navigate for you, point out the sights, and tell you about the city’s culture and history. But that’s not all – your GoCar mobile tour guide has a personality and a human voice – it cracks jokes, recommends the good restaurants, and tells you the stories that bring the city to life. It’s like having a “local” give you a private guided tour.GoCar gives clear driving directions using GPS satellite technology. Just follow the friendly audio directions and relax!

We hired one car for the 2 of us for two hours in the afternoon as we were determined to drive down winding Lombard street. We found the little car great fun and the GPS navigation system worked well and was very informative.
I do recommend if you have a passenger to keep track on the map as if you make a wrong turn the gps goes quiet until you return to a designated route.
We saw great sites and got up close and personal to the golden gate bridge and going down Lomard street was a blast.
Definitely recommend this as a fantastic way to see San Francisco but if you go in winter rug up as it can get quite cold.
This was a definite highlight to our S.F, visit.

This was a surprise from my father and it was great, we got in the car and started driving around and it was great, right after we started somebody asked us where we got them, one of the best parts is we got to drive down lombard street which i didn't think we would get to do,we got to go into places that tour buses weren't allowed so we could see more than any other tour, I would suggest it for anybody, only downsize is there was little trunk space as we had a backpack and a bag with two sweaters and we had to put the backpack between our legs the whole time, I would defiantly do it again and would recommend it for anybody

I hired the GoCar for 3 hours for the Golden Gate Parks tour, and I must say it is a lot of fun and we got to see a lot of sights withing those 3 hours ++. When the website says you need 3 hours, it means you need 3 hours to just drive past everything and not make any stops, if you intend make stops at some sights, you need to add about 1 hour, to the time that is stated on the website. towards the end of the tour, I made a wrong turn and the GPS went all quiet in us and we were just driving around lost and blind, the tiny map is not helpful when you are unfamiliar with your surroundings, but somehow I managed to find our way back to GoCars office on Taylor Street. So do beware and listen very carefully to what the GPS voice is telling. Don't go too fast, the car is very lightweight and can make your ride really rough when you hit bumpy roads. Despite all that, it is still a lot of fun to do!
